I'm not 100% sure about buying at Jeanette's but I had my fitting and just wanted to give a shout out to the consultant I met with, Christa. She was absolutely fantastic the entire time. I'm a size 14 and was nervous because I didn't see many gowns in that size. She didn't miss a beat and found quite a few that I could slip into. Ones that were a size too small she expertly clipped together so I could get an idea of how it would look. I told her my budget and not one gown she pulled out was over, and one was around $300. I felt like she was honestly interested in me looking as gorgeous as possible. I'm not sure about the other employees but she's worth a special trip out there. The gowns at Jeanette's were priced about $700-$3000, with plenty in between. I thought it had a pretty wide selection of styles, and no one seemed to mind that I tried on about 15 gowns (she even suggested that I try some of them on again if I wasn't sure). I had a large problem with my dress. When I told Jeanette the dress was unsatisfactory, she responded with "Too bad." I was shocked and could not believe how unprofessionally they treat their customers. I will NEVER return or recommend this bridal salon.

Out-of-state Bridesmaids BEWARE!

If you are an out-of-state bridesmaid or have out-of-state bridesmaids in your wedding party...
STAY AWAY from Jeanette's! They take full advantage of the fact that you can not come to the boutique and confront them if there is a problem with your dress.
I live on the west coast and will be in a wedding in DC in April. I ordered my dress in early October from them with the promise that it would arrive in no more than three months. The lady taking my order argued with me about what size I should order and insisted that I order a size larger, which I refused to do as this is my third bridesmaid's dress with this designer and knew exactly what size I needed. It is now mid March and my dress JUST ARRIVED, almost three months late! In addition, they put in a size larger than what I ordered! When I contacted Jeanettes about it, they would not work with me claiming that it is too close to the wedding to reorder AND that I am not getting the alterations with them so they wont help on those costs either! Now I am stuck with a dress two sizes too large needing to make major alterations to both bodice and length at the very last minute all on my own dollar. Had the order been handled properly all the drastic alterations, the extra costs, and the rush wouldn't be necessary.
The dress has the potential to be stunning, but has lace on the bodice. The major alterations to the lace will definitely show.
Just because I live out-of-state, does not give any boutique the right to treat me poorly. Jeanettes does not seem to believe in this form of customer service. Lesson learned = if it is a black dress, order local and never recommend Jeanettes.

I went to Jeanette's to look for a bridal gown. I was very impressed with the selection of dresses they had in a variety of price ranges. My consultant was very good about listening to the kind of dress I had in mind and also picking out dresses that would look good on my figure without bringing the most expensive ones on the rack that I had no hope of affording. There was no pressure to buy my dress from them at any time (and I didn't, simply because I found it online for cheaper) On Saturdays it is VERY busy and don't be surprised if you're kept waiting a few minutes for your appointment!
