I have been going to David for 15 years now. I will never let anyone else color, cut or highlight my hair! I am constantly receiving compliments on my style & color & referring clients to him!!

I've been to the salon once and i saw Rania, she was fantastic!!! i always liked my hair but after i walked out of the salon for a Sunday afternoon house shopping, 3 people complimented my hair i loved it!!! i was so excited even my husband and kids noticed the difference! she is great and a very good listener!

I moved here from the Northeast and was used to having the most amazing hair stylist. I never thought I could do better until Laurie !Laurie is amazing with color and styling~very talented. 5 stars! I will be sure to recommend to anyone who wants excellence. Thank you Laurie!

Well, I thought I would search for a long time to replace my hairdresser in Florida when I relocated. I was on the web on day looking for certified salons and came across Jon David and called. Right away I felt good speaking with the receptionist. She asked some questions to match me with the right hairdresser for me. I came in two days later :) and met David! I have never been more happy, at ease and LOVE my hair!!! Everyone is wonderful here! Lay gives the best shampoo massage ever. I receive so many compliments and happily recommend Jon David salon!

I've needed to find a new hair place for over 6 months. My hair stylist left the area and I've tried a new place every 3-4 months with mixed results. I think I have found my new salon! I LOVE my hair. I spoke and my stylist listened. He actually channeled my inner desires without my articulating them. I admit to wanting someone who KNOWS what to do. If I have to tell you how to cut my hair, I might as well open my own place! Zed KNOWS what to do. The color is perfect. The cut is carefree...meaning I don't have to do anything but roll out of bed and into the shower. The true test is to come home from the salon and take a shower. Can I make it look as good as it did 15 minutes ago? Absolutely. Wash..Shake...Let dry. It still looked good. He's not afraid of color and I am TRULY a red head which I always wanted but no one believed me. I'm a happy girl. I feel like an old grand ma but...TRY IT! YOU'LL LIKE IT!

JonDavid's staff are very good for your self esteem. The hair designers are great. I've been perfected by David, Kadria and Omar, all are fantastic and creative in their own way. The look is different for each, but I really enjoyed all of the styles and colors.I have recommend these folks to many of my friends and all of them have thanked me. The best part for me is the shampoo, the head massage :)

I've been going to John David since 2002- they originally did my styling for my wedding, Ive had highlights, color, cuts, up duo and blow out there and never been disappointed! my regular stylist is Christian, but Ive had David, Zaid, Omar, and different assistants work on my hair...and they are all great.

oh also there's a young lady that does eye brown threading, and she is truly an artist

I have been going to Jon-David's for almost 5 years. I have a standing appointment with Wilma for nails. She is amazing and a fun person to be with. She is meticulously clean and takes her time to do a great job. Her pedicures are also fabulous.
Laurie cuts my hair and she is wonderful. She always takes the time to ask what I want and gives me even better. David has also cut my hair and he is very talented.
From all I have seen, anyone in the salon would send people away happy. They make every effort to be customer-oriented.
It is pricey, but you get what you pay for!!

I went with a bunch of people 2 weeks ago, we were going to a wedding and the salon was extremely busy.
At first i was not happy, i have waited a long time and i was almost late to the wedding. But then a sweet receptionist came up to me and told me that one of the shampoo's will get me right away, and she told them that i was ready. After a few minutes a young guy comes up to me and takes me to the shampoo area, he gave me the best/most relaxing shampoo i have ever gotten in years, i forgot about the wait, the wedding and everything. After the shampoo he took he to the station were i was going to style my hair, got me coffee and a magazine, and he made sure i was seen right away.
Then i got my hair styled by one of the assistants that work there, she did an amazing job, i was extremely happy. Thank you all for an amazing experience.

My friend referred me to Jon David's 6 years ago and I am so bummed that I had to move away...Zaid was heaven sent. He listens to what you want and then, somehow, always makes your style turn out better than you thought it could be. If you come in clueless he will suggest something great...you cannot go wrong here! The staff is awesome and the salon is so cute. Note- the price is gripping sometimes but I couldn't, and you shouldn't, put a price limit on yourself!! Did I mention Zaid is the best!! I miss him terribly!

I visited jds today for the first time on the referral of a family member. What a great experience. Very clean, very polite staff and the whole time feeling very relaxed. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend it to all my friends. I saw Zaid, and he couldn't have been more wonderful. Listened to what I asked for and didn't get into making suggestions I was not interested in. I have been to some of the really expensive salons in the area, and this was much better. A wonderful experience, I will definitely be back.

I've been going to this salon for almost 3 years now. I used to live just blocks away, but now live in Sterling. I still make the long drive just to have my hair done by Laurie! Everyone is friendly and you are treated like royalty the minute you step inside!

I actually located this salon through Insider Pages because I was looking for a new and convienent place to get my hair done. From the moment I called to the time I left, the service was very friendly and genuine. First impressions mean everything and it meant alot. Christian was my hair stylist and he had a vision for my hair which I was pleased with, great cut and shape with so much life and body. I will continue to go back, I think I finally found a salon that is just right for me! Oh yeah and they don't push products at all, very laid back people and great atmosphere. A Hidden Gem.

I am in town on business and desperately needed my hair done. I keep a very busy schedule and am always very nervous when trying a new salon. Sara France cut my hair and highlighted it. I am so pleased with the experience. She was professional and easy to talk to. She did an awesome job on my hair and I felt like the services were fairly priced. I would recommend this salon to anyone.

I have been going to Omar for about 3 years. Just recently I told him to give me a "new" haircut - whatever he thought would look good. I completely trusted him because I know he is so skilled. I swear - not a day goes by when someone doesn't compliment my hair. It is such a great cut! As long as I live anywhere near Springfield, Omar will cut my hair. I also love the shampoo/scalp massage and they are always so careful and thorough with their blowdry.

I have been going to Sara for just over a year now and she is amazing! I have never been as happy with my hair and I'm 43. My friend recommended me to both the salon and Sara because I commented on how great she looked. We've been friends for 18 years and I'd never seen her hair look so great. Sara knows what flatters YOUR face and hair and always makes you look your best. My husband is retired military and had never been to a salon before, but now he won't go anywhere else. Sara France is the best stylist I've ever had. All of the Jon David staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very nice. I highly recommend this salon.

I have to go along with the crowd on this one! This place is great. The atmosphere & decor are very modern. The entire staff is personable and professional. They work together well and aim to please! They also have a great website.

Lauri has cut and highlighted my hair for over three years. She is very talented and easy to work with. She takes a lot of time to explain to me what is the best type of product to use -- not brand but type, ie mousse, gel, etc. and to show me how to blow dry my hair. She is awesome. No pressure and always strives for customer satisfaction.

Some may say a cut & blowdry are too expensive ($48) but you definitely get what you pay for here! I don't even think of going anywhere else!

I have been a client of lauries for over three years and wouldn't go anywhere else! She is extremely talented and I leave how my hair is cut to her. She has never disappointed me. She also does my highlights using two colors for more effect. She always takes the time to ensure I know how to style it on my own.

I get many compliments on my hair cuts, style and highlights! I wouldn't go anywhere else.

A friend of mine recommended Jon David's and I absolutely love it. I recommend the place not only for the great haircuts and friendly staff, but because of the whole experience! David usually cuts my hair, but I have also had Omar cut my hair. My 14 year old, son also enjoys the experience.The salon is very accessible, appointments are easy to obtain. SusanFort Belvoir VA

I was recommended Omar at John David Salon and I was not dissapointed. Omar was able to fix my botched dye job from before and give me one of the greatest hair cuts I've ever received. I actually found their rates to be pretty reasonable for the DC area ($150 for cut, blow dry, and full highlights). Good atmosphere too. My husband goes to him now and loves the results as well. Definitely would recommend Omar and John David Salon for anyone.

I've been getting my hair done by Sara France since she started working at John David and I have never been unsatisfied. I love that I can come in with no idea what I want to do with my hair next and she always has a new creative idea that ends up looking great on me! I would recommend her to ANYONE!

I had my hair done by Sara a month ago and people are still raving about it. The color and the cut are phenomenal. Sara understands what I want in a cut and in the color. She is honest and will tell me what will and will not look good. I would recommend her as a stylist to anyone, male or female.

I went to this salon on the advice of friends, one of whom works here. I got a cut and color. Afterwards I have recieved rave reviews on my hair, my mother told me it was the best haircut I have ever had in my life (and I'm 35!).

I went to Sara, she does great work.

I am pleased with the past two color processes (both drastically different, by the way). The boutique style, European ambiance and treatment (offering beverages and scalp massage) are very nice.I agree with "heather" that I would rather go infrequently and spend a lot for quality than to go infrequently without the quality.Pros: Good quality, nice ambiance
