My relations always take us here to eat breakfast when we get together. The food is excellent. The service is friendly. they have just about everything you could want on the breakfast menu. However, the place is tiny tiny tiny! There is now way you could fit a really large group in here. Also for all the non-smokers out there, doesn't seem to be adequet ventilation here.
The Yankee has the best breakfast around by far. The people are friendly and the food great. There is a ton to chose from the prices are great. I have been going there since I was a kid.

What a unique experience dining at the Yankee. It seems like everyone knows everyone, yet at the same time, out of towners such as myself are made to feel welcome. It's the only place I've been to for breakfast, where I also ordered a hot dog because they are just that good. The pancakes taste like they used yellow cake mix in the batter and the yankee dog is the best ever. If there was a Yankee near my home, I would be in hot dog heaven!
Pros: yummy food, friendly fast service, quaint
Cons: there are two smoking options: smoking and smoking, no ventilation
