From the time my child was a few months old, we started getting photos at Sears. Just as someone else suggested, Kelly does whatever it takes, and the photos prove that!

Whenever we get coupons, we'll do portraits. Otherwise, I've found it's just too expensive. But when we go, we ask for Kelly. She also photographed a wedding for a family member, and the photos were great!!

I love all the props & backgrounds to choose from, though it is hard to pick just 2 or 3 for the session. Two thumbs up to the friendly staff, who realize kids are kids, and sometimes it does take time. Everyone we've ever worked with has been great & patient with our daughter.

PROS: Friendly, gorgeous photos
CONS: Expensive without coupons!

I am a photo junkie. From the time my daughter was one month old, I had her portrait made each and every month until her first birthday - no small (or cheap) task. I joined the Sears Portrait Studio SmileSavers Plan early on, which saved me $15 per visit in sitting fees, plus offered small benefits here and there, such as free portrait sheets on occasion.

While there are several photographers on staff, we ALWAYS ask for Kelly. She will absolutely do whatever it takes to get your baby or toddler to smile (or at least look happy if he/she can't smile yet), and even when my little girl has gone into the studio in the foulest of moods, her portraits have always turned out beautifully. More recently, Kelly took bridal portraits of my mother which, of course, are nothing short of stunning.

Be sure to locate coupons before heading to Sears as the portrait sheets are expensive - they can always be found online at the Sears Photo website or in the pages of most any parenting magazine. Photos are usually ready in just a couple of weeks, and are available in special enhancements such as black and white or sepia.

Available backgrounds change with the seasons so your photos are always fresh - I love the spring flowers, the autumn leaves and the big snow-topped chimney at Christmastime. Kelly is a whiz at posing little ones, and the only thing I hate about our photo sessions is trying to choose which ones to order. I can't recommend Sears Portrait Studio highly enough - but be sure to ask for Kelly!

PROS: Astounding photographer; variety of props/backgrounds.
CONS: Pricey without coupons.
