I took my to Brake King because for a service that I knew I would save money by choosing Brake King for the service; instead, of the dealer ship. I took my car to Brake King all to be told by one mechanic (Robert*) that I needed to take my car to the Toyota Dealership to get it fixed and next phone I got was from another mechanic (Tony) stating that my car barely made it into the shed and that he got my car up 80% corrected and that he will get with another one of his team mates (Kevin) to look into the car to get it up to 100% fixed. Then he (Tony) quoted to me the cost of the repairs. I was disappointed that my car was first worked on without my permission nor prior knowledge of what was even wrong with my car. After I suggested that he put my car back to the state it was in before fixing it, the mechanic said, "You car is not going to make it out of the shed. It barely moves." Therefore, I let the car stay fixed. I informed him that my care needs to be fix before I pick it up and that I was not paying for an 80% job. Within 24 hours of picking my car up the car was acting the same it was before I even brought it into Brake King. I then took my car to Toyota all to get the same results that Brake King claimed was fixed. I brought my car back all for the mechanic and owner to try and play the blame game and suggest Toyota does not want to fix my car; however, after leaving my car with Brake King, they called to inform me that the senor on the car was defective and that it was fixed. I got a call from that same mechanic (Tony) who fixed my car without my permission the first time to who now suggests that other sensors could be causing my car to act up now. I re-informed him that I was not paying for nothing new because he all ready fixed my car without my permission and informing me what was causing the issues. I said I paid for your fix my car 100% not 80%; therefore, I am not repaying for something that should have been fixed the first time around and if you could not fix my car then why touch it. Within 10 minutes I got a call to state that my car was ready for pick up. My car was still acting up and for months I looked for another mechanic who could help fix my car. I called again before flying home asking could they look at my car again, I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, all to be informed by the manager (Bubba) that Tony no longer works at the company and it has nothing to do with my complaint. After months of back and forth and returning form my trip, I go to pick my care up from Brake King all for the first mechanic (Robert) who now suggests that it was another sensor that is causing my car to act up. So now you are writing up another estimate for me to pay for another service, when my car is still acting up from the first service???? These mechanics got to be kidding me right? I will say I have learned my lesson. I have not had any problems with any services until this incident with Brake King. As one friend said to me, "Why would you take your car to them to fix on a sensor when Brake King completely states what they can fix. Look at the names on each shed." I do not plan to take my car to Brake King ever again. I want to inform as many consumers as possible regarding any engine light or other sensor lights that maybe on in your to not take your car to Brake King. I am still suffering from the poor service I received.

Go ahead and find anyone to do the quality work they do for less. We had a Taurus station wagon that needed brake work done. The chain owned shop nearest my house said $1400 to basically overhaul the whole setup. $320 at Brake King and we drove that wagon for years after. They have done custom work, even repair work for me and I have never been disappointed. If your window clips break from rolling it up or down, blame the age/maintenance/manufacturer of your car, not the inspector that pushed a window switch. Seriously. I work on my own cars, and they do brakes for barely more than it costs me to do it myself.

I recently had a state inspection performed at Brake King. My vehicle was returned to me with the driver's side window down (electric opr window) and I wondered why. Started my vehicle and went to close the window before leaving and it would not close. I went back into the store and reported that my driver's side window would not go up and was up and working fine when I came there. (I never travel with my window down). I was told it was part of the inspection to raise and lower the window, could be nothing on their part. I had to travel down the street, it started to rain to a glass shop. They discovered that one of the clips at the bottom of the glass had been broken and nothing else was wrong with the window. They even wonder how that could break with out a lot of force on it. A $12 dollar state insp ended up costing over $112.00. My understanding is that your property is suppose to be returned to you in the same condition as you brought it in. This did not happened to me and never was I even told that something was wrong with my door window. Up to this point, I had a good opinion of Brake King but not any more.

I took my car the for new brake pad and an allignment. Got my car back the allignment was way off. The brakes ok, not the best in the world. What makes it so bad was they charged me 119 for parts and 200 for labor. My car was there no more than an hour and a half.

If you go here, have everything put on paper and then go somewhere else and see what they say. I have found that they want to do more to the car then needs to be done.

The Prices are great! We were quoted 500 at one brake place just to replace our pads. We took it to brake king and it was 150 and that was to turn the rotors around too! Might have been a little cheaper! We will definately go there again and again!

While the location could be better and the atmosphere is somewhat lacking for me, the staff is helpful and they offer personalized service that most shops don't. They custom made a part for me right on the spot, and it was inexpensive, too. If you look past the appearance, its a decent place.
