This review addresses the sales department, not the service department. I had a miserable, infuriating experience with the sales team and DO NOT recommend this dealership to anyone for any reason ever. They do not care about the customer and I'm very upset that I gave them a sale. I was dismissed, treated rudely, and blamed for the following situation.

I purchased a 2014 Honda Accord from Landmark Honda a few weeks ago. I wasn't satisfied with the sales process to begin with as I felt a bit bullied but I accept my role in allowing that to happen. On my fourth day of ownership, a Saturday evening, the battery died on me while I was in New Jersey, 300 miles away from home. I was shocked and angry and immediately called the dealership and asked to speak with my sales rep. He's a nice enough guy and tried to help me figure out the issue since the service team had gone home for the day. I heard him ask for help from two different sales managers while I was on the phone. Neither could be bothered to speak to me directly and all they offered was "tell her to call roadside assistance" and implied that I'd "probably just left my lights on or something". I'm not an idiot nor a novice driver. No manager got on the phone to apologize or show me any concern or to walk me through the situation or to make me have any faith in this new car that had just failed me. In fact, they were entirely unhelpful and instead inferred that it was probably my fault. Infuriating. Thankfully, I had AAA and gave them a call. They arrived an hour later and gave me a jump then tested the battery -- the test came back as "bad cell". The battery was dead for good. AAA proceeded to follow me to the gas station so I could fill up and drive all the way back to VA without having to turn my car off, because it likely wouldn't turn back on.

The following day I called the dealership again to get some help. I left a message for a manager to give me a call. 2 1/2 hours later I still hadn't received a call back so I called again and asked to be placed on hold until a manager could speak with me. I was pretty upset about this situation and to this point had had to navigate this entire ordeal on my own. After holding for several minutes I was finally connected with a sales manager named John Polifko. My interaction with this individual made me so furious I was nearly brought to tears. He immediately took an attitude of "What's your problem?" and "Why are you bothering me?". He was rude, combative, tried to make me feel like an idiot, gave me misinformation and again, blamed me for the situation. I had friends in the room with me while I spoke with Mr. Polifko and they couldn't believe how he treated me. He told me to call Honda roadside assistance to have my car towed to the dealership. I called and it turns out I don't have Honda roadside assistance. I called the dealership back to try to get some kind of help out of anyone. I was transferred to another sales manager named Theresa who was sufficiently apologetic and kind. However, she said she would call me back with a "plan" but I didn't get a call back until the next day. She says she wrote my number down wrong. Fine, but my number could have been tracked down on the paperwork at the dealership. On my own, I found out that the service department opened at 8am on Monday and planned to have friend jump my car so I could drive it there, then have my sister drive me to work. Again, making any effort to resolve this situation by myself, with no help from the dealership.

When I pulled into the service bay the next morning, the gentleman in the service department immediately apologized for my inconvenience and said about my battery situation, "this isn't uncommon, unfortunately. It happens once or twice a month with new cars." That was a huge relief and within seconds, two days of frustration was eased a bit. He assured me that they would replace the battery (at no cost to me -- you better believe you're giving me a working battery I already paid for) and monitor my car throughout the day to make sure there weren't any other draws on the battery. Fine, great.

I ran into my original sales rep as I was leaving and told him how upset I was with the whole ordeal. He introduced me to the General Manager, Joe Waldman. I had only a few minutes before I had to head to work to express to him how I had been treated by his staff. He was apologetic but at this point I needed much more than an apology. When I picked up my car I was again subjected to rudeness and combativeness from Mr. Polifko and Waldman's offer to cover my 5,000 and 10,000 mile service (a total of $160) was a feeble response to my experience. However, after day 3 of losing sleep and being extremely upset about this situation, I had to let it go for my own good. I remain extremely regretful that I gave this dealership a sale and if I could return the car, I would. AVOID AT ALL COST!

I bought a vehicle on 12/20/2012 and it was one the best experiences in this area. I was treated with respect and most of the staff were very professional. I highly recommend Landmark Honda...they are BY FAR GREATER THAN GHETTO POHANKA!

On December 17, 2012, I went to Landmark along with my father-in-law. We were there from 10am-12:30 noontime. This sales person, Max (serbian descent) helped us out. He was kind of arrogant and pushy (maybe its the Serbian accent?). In my mind, I was ready to make a deal if we can agree to an price. Unfortunately, it took awhile for Max to come back to us so Kennedy (apparently the assistant of the Director of the Used Car Sales Director) stepped it. He told us right away how much they were gonna give us for trade-in and how much the final price of the car was, which was exactly the same as the price written in the car sticker. So I asked, "Isn't there any room for negotiation?" and he replied, "Not even $50 less of the price!!!" (I felt my face turn cold and I did my best to not say anything mean to him). He didn't even say it in a nice way..... He was soooo arrogant, mean and VERY condescending!!!!!! He didn't even ask me what figures I had in mind. As soon as he said those words, I stood up and got my bag ready. Not even Max or Kennedy shook my hand. How unprofessional!!!! Just because a customer wants to negotiate does not give you any right to just brush them off and let them feel like a nuisance. Too bad because I was planning to buy a car before Christmas! I WILL NEVER, EVER BUY A CAR FROM LANDMARK HONDA! Please stay away from Kennedy!!!!!! I'll take my business somewhere where they treat their customers with respect.

I bought a used car from Landmark Honda. The second day I started having trouble with the car. Used Car Sales Director Bouna Ndiaye was not helpful in getting the problem sorted out. His attitude was sarcastic, impolite and unfriendly. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anybody.

Took 2004 Odyssey in for covered maintenance repair of EGR valve and they installed it improperly. The EGR valve is held down with two studs capped by two nuts and the "technician" totally missed one hole of the EGR valve and just tightened the nut against the body of it. So it had this vacuum leak and didn't run well at all. Took them all day to do this job improperly. I removed the EGR valve and mounted it properly on the studs in less than 15 minutes.

I am very angry with the service at the Landmark Honda dealership. Should I forget about purchasing a Honda? Does Honda have a better dealer in Northern Virginia?

On Tuesday, October 26, 2010, I called the sales associate of the Landmark Honda Dealership in Virginia at 3:00pm to confirm buying the Honda Pilot EX 4WD in white. I gave the sales associate my word that I would be there in half an hour to purchase the car at the price we discussed over the weekend. He had been working with us for the past two weeks (they needed two weeks to bring in this specific color and model). At 3:20pm, my family and I arrived at the Landmark Honda Dealership. The car was outside, ready to go. The sales associate greeted us happily and indicated that someone else was thinking about buying the same car we wanted. A woman came out, looking at the car saying, ??Calm down, I??m just looking.? Our sales associate left for a few minutes, and when he came back, he told us that the other buyer (the husband of the woman) just bought the car a few minutes ago and he can no longer sell us the car. He told us we would have to look for another color or model. We were completely shocked and asked to speak with the sales manager, Charlie ??Chuck? Singleton, immediately. I asked him why he sold the car to someone else when I told his associate I would come at 3:30pm. He replied saying,?We do not wait on people, because they do not show up most of the time.? I could not believe that the manager would said something like this and he did not even show a sign of regret or say a word of sorry. They both just stood there and laughed, which was highly unprofessional. The manager should have asked the other sales associate to wait until at least 3:30pm (the time I said I would be there). He should have trusted me because I had been waiting for two weeks now. Also, the sales associate called multiple times in the morning telling me to go purchase the car. If the sales associate knew beforehand that someone else wanted to buy the car, he should have told me earlier or warned me of this. If they needed a deposit to hold the car, then they should have told me about that too.

I am very angry with the way that the sales manager, Charlie ??Chuck? Singleton, handled the sale. To me, trustworthiness is most important, especially when it comes to doing business. Charlie ??Chuck? Singleton not only insulted and fooled us, he betrayed his business.

This is really an unacceptable service experience with the Landmark Honda Dealership. Should I continue looking for this car with another Honda dealer or just forget about it?

Purchased a used 2008 Honda Accord Coupe from Landmark in February of 2009. The car was in okay condition, but I wanted to purchase to get rid of my 1997 Acura CL just for an upgrade, because my car was in good condition. Ever since I had that car, I've been experiencing problems such as; internal pieces missing inside, rattling noise from under the car, shaky glove compartment, and the BIGGEST OF ALL paint is chipping off the car. The car had 3 month dealer warranty and within that timeframe I went to the dealer to file a compliant. After I told the general manager that I was going to file a case with American Honda, he decided not to do anything about the car. "Is this proper customer service?" In any event, I filed a compliant with American Honda twice which; they were of no help. I am now going to file with the DMV and BBB to get this issue resolve. I'm not the one ripping off the dealer...I'm the victim so why I'm being treated as a criminal. The laws need to definately change pertaining to dealerships getting away with ruthless acts which; hurst the customers--we are the ones who brings them business (money) and continues for their to operate. I swear that I will take this to the highest authority to protect the rights of consumers who are faced with criminal dealerships.

A License to Steal:

The dealership service department seems to think that if you are female, you are "ripe for the picking." In May, 2010 I brought the vehicle in for a routine oil change and inspection. They tried to tell me my brakes were bad, I needed a complete overhaul of hoses, and the CV boots were bad, among other things for a total of nearly $2,000 in upsell against a $40 oil change.

I returned in July because the door locks on the drivers side were not working properly. During the first part of the visit, we established that the above mentioned items from the May visit were not valid. We also agreed that a 90 K service would be in order, although they did not have all of the parts needed to complete the list of items to be worked. (This was to have necessitated a future visit once the ordered parts came in.)

Upon completion of the door lock repair and service, I noted several things: The air conditioner filter was not installed - even though it was listed as a to do item; the tires were not rotated per my request and listed on the work order; and the bumper clips were not installed.

The final straw was their idea of "disabling" my alarm system to run diagnostics for an elelctrical problem. Their idea of "disabling" was to yank the alarm system out completely (with no hope of putting it back), and then telling me I had to live with it.

After a lengthy conversation with the service writer and the manager, they admitted that they should have been more clear that the plan was to take the alarm system out of the vehicle. When I asked for something in writing to document their offer to give me a future credit against work done there or to have a new alarm system put in, the best the service manager would do was to credit my bill for about a third of the cost..

I sure wish I read read some of the other reveiws on this site about how they prey on women.

I've been a service customer of Landmark honda for going on 3 years- I drive more than 1 hour to get there. These guys are that good, fair decent, honest and of course really know their products. When the customer service manager you are assigned to can call you by your first name, that makes you feel like more than a number. The repairs accomplished there, when you use the coupons on the website, not only is your wallet not wrecked but your car is safe and functioning within the specs set by the factory- all Honda parts and trained techs- makes a big difference!- easy to book service right off the website, use the service coupons, its money in your pocket. They reccommend only the stuff you absolutley need to keeps your family and car safe. All the staff there is friendly, honest and of the highest integrity and if you get to look inside where the repairs are done- immaculate- just like ther restrooms and show room floor. I'm out of space!!!!!!!!

We've purchased several cars at Landmark Honda over the years, and have been really pleased with the experience. We got excellent Honda cars at what we felt were very fair prices, and were treated with respect at all times. Our experiences have only been very positive. (P.S. We love the little dog -- Gadget? Gizmo? -- that runs around the dealership -- he's really cute.)

My wife and I went to Landmark Honda to buy our first minivan due to our expanding family. We had been to two other dealers in the area. The salespeople were fabulous. They gave us a car at the price we were asking and made the entire experience fast and pleasant.

I have only had my car for a short time and I was having some significant service issues. I brought it to Landmark Honda and was so relieved that the Service Department was so helpful. I didn't feel like I was getting ripped off. They explained which repairs were essential and which could wait which I really appreciated. The staff were all very friendly. I would definitely recommend them.

I recently bought a car at Landmark Honda and my experience was wonderful. The salesperson was very knowledgable. He made my children and I feel extremely comfortable and not rushed. The General Manager was very friendly and knowledgable as well. I have never had such a good experience buying a car.

I found the car that I wanted on autotrader, located at Landmark Honda, it was definately a great deal and I wanted the car. I went to the dealership and Rafael came out to help us. He seemed alright and we took it for a test drive. The price of the car I got was great, I couldn't find another 2006 Rav4 fully loaded for under 18k with that few miles on it. I decided to purchase the car. While drawing up the paperwork Rafael started talking religion, which I don't believe in his religion and found offensive. I really wanted the car though, so I dealt with it and kept changing the subject. Now the car was covered in scratches, which the dealership gave us a "we owe" for them to buff and paint to fix the scratches. When I brought the car in to get it done, I left with the car looking great. It looked great up until my husband washed the wax off. They did NOT do anything but wax the car. We also bought the Cilajet on it, so by the time we realized it, all those huge scratches... now sealed it and we would have to remove the Cilajet, which we paid hundreds for, to fix them. The next issue was that I am active duty military and wanted out of state tags. About four days before the temp ones expired, they called to say they were overnighting the new ones. Great. Well next day came and they weren't there. I assumed maybe they had gotten them there late. It got to the point where it was hours before they were to expire and I wanted to come in to get different ones, as I have no way to get to work if I don't have a license plate. I called to talk to the woman in charge of plates and such and her reply was "drive with expired plates, the liklihood of you getting pulled over is very slim." I'm pretty sure that for a car dealership to say that is illegal. I got so frustrated with her I just hung up and made my husband call back. Finally he got an answer that was acceptable, once they receive our real plates and send them out, they can't issue us temp ones. If the woman would have told us that instead of telling me to drive illegally, I would not have gotten upset. The car we bought also had a defective muffler, it went bad within 5000 miles. Landmark's reply was "it isn't in our warranty." I just spent a grand on a muffler that had a hole in it when I bought it, only I did not know it.

I did get the car that I wanted for a good price, it just angers me at how much this place lies and swindles you. Don't take the time to write me a "we owe" if you aren't going to live up to it.

Landmark Honda service totally lost my confidence. The economic crisis must have hit them hard as they try to cheat and lie to make a buck. I had my Honda Element towed to Landmark to check and see why it was not starting, after just having it serviced 3 weeks prior. The Service associate called me to tell me that it was the alternator and that in order to replace it the cost would be $898. I checked with other non-Honda mechanics who told me the total cost would be $300. And then I checked with another Honda dealer in Virginia and their complete cost was $500. So where does Landmark Honda come up with an extra $400 charge. Not only this, when I had my car there 3 weeks prior for its regular service, this same service associate was trying very hard to get me to buy new tires from Landmark Honda with an outrageous price. When he could not get me to make that mistake, his attitude changed.I had been a loyal customer of Landmark Honda since I bought my care in 2003 paying big bucks to have my car serviced there. The end result, the car is not drivable after a full maintenance. I will never sit foot there again.

i took my car in for to have it work on. They keep telling they did it but I see the part that I gave them were still where I left it. I brought the part so I would know which one is mine. They think that I have no clue about car and argument with me that they did do it. when I drove out the lot, my car cut off. very very bad service and don't even listen to the customer. I recommend taking it somewhere else unless you like to argue and waste money.

I took my Civic to Landmark Honda for an oil change a couple months after moving to Virginia from New York. I had just had a 40-point inspection performed on my car before leaving New York. The repair tech told me I MUST have brake work done to the tune of $800, and it "would be irresponsible of [me] to leave without doing the repairs" and he would report me to the DMV. I simply told him I couldn't afford it and that I was not authorizing any work beyond the oil change. When I got to the dealership, I found that they had removed and discarded personal property--my license plate frame, a police organization sticker, and my parking permit for my apartment complex. They denied any knowledge.

Before I even went home, I took the car to the Meineke down the street. They found a rock wedged between the brake pad and rotor, most likely something that had been kicked up from the road. They removed it for $50 in labor and said there was nothing else wrong with the brakes.

A week later, I got a call from the service department asking me to schedule brake work because my car wouldn't pass VA inspections without it. It had already passed. They also tried to tell me that I needed transmission work because the fluid was red. Like I was going to fall for that!

I went to Landmark Honda with a broken A/C in my CRV. I was greeted with a smile before getting out of my car. He told me that they would call with an estimate and offered a shuttle to drive me home. they called later on to let me know that the entire A/C unit had to be replaced. He thoroughly explained what had happened and what needed to be done. He went over the price with me and then explained how he'd gotten Honda to help with some of the expense. He arranged for my car to be fixed and let me use a loaner car for the day. When my car was ready, They called. When I returned to the dealership, he walked me through the check out process, warranty and asked if I had any questions. He was friendly and smiled the entire time.
My car was returned and everything worked perfectly. They even washed my car for me! I will definitely return to Landmark Honda for further service!

Found a really great pilot while on Craig's list...When I called rosenthal landmark honda the salesman said they had a customer on it right now and if the deal doesn't happen, then he will call me since i wasn't interested in anything else. The next day he called me and offered me the car. The other customer bought a new honda accord instead. I went in test drove and bought the Honda pilot that same day with no hassle or tricks.

recently purchased a Honda Pilot from landmark Honda and my experience at this dealership was outstanding. I found the auto on line. the website was great and easy to navigate. Was really dreading going in to negotiate for the car. It turned out i had nothing to fear it was a very easy and non-stressful deal. They gave me a very reasonable trade-in price as well too. Will recommend to friends and family.

My husband took our Honda civic to Landmark Honda because it was making a strange humming sound, since. I was worried something serious was wrong with it and it would cost us a fortune . The service manager inspected the car and said the timing belt just need some lubrication and it wasn't a big deal. They fixed it and even added some windshield fluid for free. They saved us a lot of headache and money with their honest opinion. Thank you !!

Landmark Honda REALLY looks out for their customers best interest. I am surprised at the extent of their customer service. I have been there three times in the last year; first was to buy my car and the 2nd was a request from my friend to help him, and the third was service on my car. I love the service and the honest opinions. There isn't any arm twisting or "scare tactics" used. They give there professional opinion and let you decide. I have been thoroughly pleased with all my experiences with them.

Landmark Honda Dealership preys on elderly women. While visiting a relative in Alexandria, I dropped my 1 year old Honda Accord for an oil change. The service department phoned me and gave me a long list of required repairs that were road "safety concerns" and needed to be taken care of quickly. They were very careful to use carefull wording to not put them in legal jeopardy, the two my mechanic laughed at were "your breaks are beginning to wear down" and your "alignment may need to be adjusted in the future". They also noticed the car seat I use for my grandchild and stated that I wouldn't want to endanger my grandchild.

A $30 oil change, quickly became a $350 brake job. It wasn't until I spoke with my regular mechanic that he informed that there was no (NO) reason why my vehicle would need a brake job in the first year. If a brake job was required, then there are more serious mechanical issues that need to be addressed. I regret not checking the WWW for customer complaints against Landmark Honda. There appear to be many serious complaints against them, and am taking every measure to warn women and elderly not to visit or trust this dealerships unreputable practices. Look for my complaint on BBB's website.

I found this little dealership on the internet. The rating were decent and when i called, the salesperson was very knowing and kind. During the whole process i got annoyed one time when they couldn't find the keys to the car i wanted to test drive. Anyhow after that little mishap all else went smooth. I am happy with the deal and car I got at Rosenthal Landmark Honda.

I am not much of a public person so i spend my days browsing the net when i need to buy something. so when i came across Landmark honda's website i was very happy to not be lost in a web of multicolor banners and signs that made to sense. I clicked on the car i wanted and negotiated my price right there within an hour. all i had to do was walk into there dealership and meet my eagerly helpful salesman. signed the papers and drove out all in another hours time. This is AN experience you have to try for yourself. I promise you wont be disapointed.

I agree with some of the reviewers. The people at Landmark Honda are very nice and pay attention to the little details that makes a difference in the overall experience. They check your Honda completely and they do help you understand each recommendation and they do not pressure you to do the repairs. They explain and show you why they recommend it and most of the time, that is all I need to make an educated decision.

I have had my Honda Accord serviced here several times and have always been happy with the service up until "that day". I knew that eventually their sales tactics, which aren't needed and which are less than hontest, would trickle down to their Service department. ...and one day they did...

A while back I worked with a guy there and almost had a done deal on a Honda Pilot. He (I still know his name, but don't want to post it) was polite, honest, and a straight shooter. I returned the next day to close the deal and was told he quit and this other guy (I know his name) took over his accounts, was with a customer, and they would honor the price that I was given only if I bought from that guy "today", financed through their dealership and bought the extended warranty.

Well, they didn't know I had "his" e-mail and sell number. ...so I called him and e-mailed him and told him I felt like I was in the middle of a Nigerian 419 scam. He was working the next day as was that guy. ...but that sour experience soured me on their company and I refused to buy from them period.

Eventually their sales tactics, which aren't needed, would trickle down to their Service department. ...and one day I got a bait and switch.

They had my car in under warranty work and told me it was covered. After they started the work they called me and told me it wasn't covered but I had to pay because the work was started and my car was over the 80,000 mile limit. ...and they could have told me that when my car was under 80,000 miles. ...so I paid the bill and refuse to ever do business with them again.

Needless to say I am still driving my Honda Accord. ...and I only take it there occasionally when I need something dealer-specific. I am thinking Fairfax Honda is the way to go from it's reviews.

...and instead of the SUV I planned on buying this fall (my Accord works great!) I am buying a used Volvo V70r wagon from a friend I can trust.

My wife and I have been looking around for a slightly used honda odyssey and wanted to see if a new one was affordable. We requested price quotes form several dealers. Landmark Honda was responded quickly and they provided a low price without the back and forth. When we finalized the deal, we received a lower price then initially quoted and $900 more for the trade in.

I just got home for having purchased a 2008 Honda Pilot. The vehicle was brand new and offered at a fantastic value. I actually put the deal together via the Internet. Landmark Honda dealership was very easy to work with and they responded quickly to any questions that I had. They were very knowledgeable about the Honda product. I recommend them if you are looking to get a good deal. Shop them on the Internet and get their price quote.

I recently bought my honda accord in for what seems like "airplane noise" that developed a few days ago. At certain speeds, the noise was very loud so I took it to the Honda dealer close to my home in Woodbridge. I was told that I need to replace all 4 tires because they were "warped" and that I also needed a 4 wheel alignment. I was quoted over $1200 dollars for the complete repair. Obviously, I did not get the repairs done and continued to drive my car (with the radio on full volume) and dealing with the noise.

I dropped my accord in for an oil change at Landmark Honda on the way to work several weeks later and mentioned to the service guy about the noise.

I got a phone call from Landmark Honda a few hours later and Larry informed me that the tires were warped however they still had lots of life on them. He suggested that I get an alignment and rotate the tires. The total was $150. I authorized the work and could not wait to get my car to see if the problem was taken care of.

Less than 2 hours from talking with Larry, I got another phone call from him to let me know that everything was completed and the mechanic road tested the car and the noise is barely there.

I went to pick up my car after work and after driving it for awhile, I was very pleased with job they did. The noise is almost completely gone and I did not have to spend thousands.

I am a little leary about new service depts. Having moved I decided to try Landmark. First I brought in the 2006 Insight for only an oil change. Of course they said the brake pads were bad so $256 later I got my oil change. They did something because now my insight won't charge the hybrid battery.
Next day I bring in my Civic Hybrid for an oil change. They start out with needing new tires which I knew was probably due. Then they added - dirty air filter, dirty brake fluid, dirty a/c filter where mold and mildew was forming behind the dash and finally they wanted to flush out (chimney sweep he called it) my fuel injection system. I told him the entire thing was just replaced brand new only 20K miles ago.
So when asked how much I was quoted about $700. I told them do the tires and change the oil - thank you no. Then I came here and read some of the other feedback. Sounds like this dealership is phishing for money. I had a real good Honda dealer in Silver Spring and they were the best. If I didn't need it they didn't try to sell me it. Well that was nice while it lasted.

I just bought an 08 Civic from Landmark Honda. To make a long story short, I drove all the way from another state to purchase the car because of the advertised price. I got there and they honored the price, however, that was the only thing they honored. After I signed all of the paperwork and drove all the way back home, I recieved a phone call from the finance rep saying the deal wasn't approved and that I would have to pay more and or put additional money down. Now according to the "No cooling off period" clause in the contract once you've signed the contract you are bound to whatever you signed for with the purchase. The customer cannot go back and change their mind about the purchase and or deal. I told him that I was not going to pay more a month nor was I going to put more money down. He claimed to have talked to his manager and got the figures back to where we initially had them. He fed ex the paperwork to me for my signature. I thought everything was fine until I get a call 2 wks later saying the same thing again!! I refused and told them I would bring the car back immediately!!! I'm going to get my car that I traded in and my money next week. I'll never do business with them again. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH LANDMMARK. A bunch of crooks. If the deal was never finalized with the bank why would you tell the customer it was, have them sign paperwork, and let them take the car home...to another state?!?! Technically, I've been driving a stolen car.

Last week I went to Rosenthal Landmark Honda to buy a Honda Civic. I wanted a car that had great gas mileage since I was spending about $600 month on gas. My gas is more than my truck payment! I was afraid that I may owe more than my truck was worth but decided to go online and shop around. I went to several Honda dealers and end up buying the Civic at Landmark Honda. They gave me more money for my truck than any other dealer which allow me to trade it in without losing money.

Last week I had my honda odyssey fixed at Landmark Honda and was very impressed with the level of service that I got. When I went in for the repair, the service advisor told me that the my odyssey would need to stay overnight and the work woulb be completed the next day. I did not want to pay for a rental so I asked if they could finished the repair on the same day. Larry checked with the mechanic and informed me that they would do their best to complete the work the same day. Then one of their staff offered to drive me to work which was a few miles away. They even offered to pick me up. My car was ready when I arrived at Landmark Honda after work. The people at Landmark Honda exceeded my expectations and I will reccmmend them to my friends and family.

This dealership has an excellent Service Department. I bought in my honda because my car had some abnormal tire wear. I was informed that there was a bulletin regarding a part on my honda civic. They replaced the part immediately and I let them know that my car was making some weird noise too. The service advisor explained to me that my tires due to wear was causing the noise. They gave me an estimate on the tires and I asked them if I should replace them since the car only has 37,000 miles. The service advisory told me that the tire was safe but I did not want to deal with the noise. The service manger Larry looked at my tires and he called Honda the manufacturer and was able to get me 50% off all 4 tires after explaining to them my situation. Needless to say, I replaced all 4 tires and the vehicle rides perfectly and the noise is gone. Landmark Honda went out of their way to help me out and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to get their Honda serviced.

I bought a 2004 Honda Civic at Landmark Honda in August of 2007. I had found a great price on the car at cars.com so I printed up the ad and brought it with me. The car was still in stock so my husband and I requested to drive it. The sales guy copied my driver??s license and we were all ready to go - literally pulling out of the driveway, when another sales guy came running up to ride with us saying his boss said he had to go. My husband and I are in our mid-twenties and experience this kind of age-prejudice all the time, so we agreed to let him come with us although I hate driving with salespeople in the car. I liked the car and went inside to talk about pricing with a sales guy. He quoted me a price $2k above the cars.com price (the sticker price), so I brought out the ad from cars.com I printed and he feigned a heart seizure, then told me, ??for you, okay.? Of course it was okay, that??s the price that was listed! Then it took that stupid man 40 minutes to agree with us on the price of my trade in and kept trying to negotiate with my husband instead of me - I told him I was the one buying the car so he should talk to me! I kept my trade in price firm and wouldn??t budge. Eventually, he gave in and acted like he did me a favor. I should??ve run. After I agreed to buy the car, that strange man started waxing poetic about how we reminded him of his own family when they were younger and then he started telling me I should have kids while I??m still young! He should leave my reproductive capabilities out of car buying, please! The finance guy was really helpful and nice. He apologized for the high interest rate and said I should refinance ASAP.

As I drove out of the dealership, the check engine light came on. When I told the sales guy, he said it was the gas cap and to bring it back up on Saturday. I agreed because by that time, I had spent four hours buying a car - torture and was hungry and tired. Three days later the car broke down on my way to work. I had to have it towed and get a rental car.

Landmark Honda sold me a car with a faulty pump that should have been replaced. The car couldn??t register how much gas was in it, leaving me stranded high and dry.

Landmark agreed to refund my expenses for the repair and rental car which took them over a month and countless calls to do. The Used Car Department Manger, Mr. Bouna Ndiaye, was very difficult to understand and completely apathetic to the whole process. No one apologized for selling me a car that broke down three days after I bought it. Don??t go to Landmark, it??s not worth the small price difference.

I had a TERRIBLE experience! and it keeps getting worse. A few examples: I was sold something in my appearance package that they don't make for the model I bought. Good thing I noticed - because when I came to pick up my car from the service dept, the ticket said it was done!! I thought I was buying the Honda care extended warranty, when I actually ended up with a 3rd party. I bought the Honda Care from another dealership. When the finance office convinced me to come in and work up a new deal with them because I wasn't happy, they assured me that canceling my original Honda Care and going with them wouldn't hurt the other dealership at all. Big surprise - that was a lie! I will never do business with them again.

If you want REAL customer service - go to Sport Honda in Silver Spring. They treat me like I bought my car from them.

I purchased my vehicle from them and found the experience to be very pleasant. I was intimidated to go to the dealership alone but the salesman treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable. After going to another dealer in Woodbridge, I went back to landmark Honda and purchased it from my salesman. I love my Honda civic! Larry the service guy was very helpful when i went back to get my security system installed. I would reccommend anyone interested in a Honda to go to landmark Honda.

I bought my car, 2000 Civic EX, from Landmark and had nothing but seemless and great service. Out of all the places I went to buy my car, Landmark was the least pushy (not typical negative sales people - which I hate). And most of all, as a female, I didn't get treated differently than males and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of because I was a female. I went there first on my search and they gave me a reasonable walk out price. After going to other auto dealers, only one place had a better offer. However due to the lack of customer service skills, giving me the runaround, I didn't like the way the staff conducted themselves and the business itself, I decided not to buy my car from them. I returned to Landmark and after a tad bit more negotiating they gave me a better price than the walk out price. Even though the final price was a tad bit higher than the place that offered the lowest and had the worst customer service I've ever encountered at a dealership, I chose to buy my car from Landmark because of the kind and pleasant experience I had at with my sales person and the rest of the staff. While the car was under warranty I always took it there for routine maintenance. The service staff is phenomenal, friendly, and definitely customer service oriented. They have a large staff and are always timely with getting my car back to me. Not to mention they have a wonderful waiting area. Every person I have encountered at that place has been genuine, kind, and helpful. Now, even though my car is no longer under warranty, I still take my car there for routine maintenance as their prices are similar to other businesses and I really enjoy environment and service I receive. I told my parents (who live in NC) what price I got the car for and one other friend (who lives in Arlington) and they both bought the same car for the same price. I am not sure why so many people seem to rate this dealership poorly, as I have had nothing but the best service. I will continue to take my car to Landmark for routine maintenance until my car dies.
