Went this place to have dinner. The first that hit me was the smoke-filled seating area--or for that matter the entire establishment. They had to turn on the big air vents often to clear the smoke-filled restaurant. That was a turn-off. I

Was looking forward to trying this place. If you are thinking the same, don't do it keep driving far and fast.

Food had absolutely no taste. Wait staff was friendly and talkative. They were extremely proud of their pre packaged food (Brisket made in Kansas and heated in a broiler), who knows where the pulled pork is made surely isn't on site. Was informed the ribs are packaged by Smithfield and reheated on site. Think you get the picture this isn't "Q".

Will give them props on the Kaiser Bun served with the Brisket.

All in all not impressed and can't recommend this place if you are serious about your "Q".

I've met folks driving from all over Hampton Roads and NC to come to this place. Great BBQ sandwiches and Ribs. Great sides too. Here you can get great BBQ and ice cream deserts too! A local hometown favorite with homemade foods and great service. A clean friendly place, great family atmosphere!
