My family has been doing business with National Pawn Brokers for 25 years. They are the only place I would consider buying jewelry AND maintaining my existing jewelry. For those afraid of the word "Pawn Shop", make no mistake, these folks are top-notch, reputable, honest, educated gemologists. Their jewelry (many estate pieces) are reasonably priced and gorgeous. Pay retail if you want but my money goes further in this "no frills", very friendly store! y

This place has good quality used goods- but they charge more than you'd expect from a pawnshop. The guns and music instruments, always the backbone of a pawnshop, are quite expensive. Of course, they are name brand and in very good condition, but they aren't that much cheaper than a new one. The cameras are sold by a guy who actually knows cameras... amazing. Just like any pawnshop, know what you want and have researched any product (pricing, options, etc.)you're looking to buy before you go in, or they'll sell you whatever they can convince you to buy. The selection is good, so if it's a good brand item you want, look here.

I wouldn't recommend selling here. The jeweler actually asked for how much I had bought it. I do not think he should've asked that. It doesn't matter how much i had bought it for it was the quality of the piece that matters. It is a big pawn store and looks more like an expensive thrift shop than a pawn store. I wouldn't recommend shopping here if you are looking for a bargain.
