I want to share my experience in case anyone else has this happen to them. I was towed last night from my apartment complex (second time in 2 weeks) and Peaco said they couldn't see my parking decal. I was new to the complex and just got a brand new decal. I placed it firmly on the window from inside. Therefore I was very confused when the towing lady informed me that if it fell and wasn't visible, then it's not her fault and I need to pay. Even though I thought that was harsh, I understood and went to pick up the car and pay. Upon looking in my car for the sticker, I found it had been scraped off and was laying on the ground of the car. It clearly showed someone had scraped the corner and then peeled it off. I called the police and filed a formal complaint with the management company. I'm guessing this will not go far but i wanted to share this experience because I've read other people complain about the same exact thing with Peaco. It's one thing to tow a car that is illegally parked, but it's another to jimmy into a car and peel off a properly placed parking permit. They are stealing and causing a lot of stress to people who truly did nothing wrong.

Hi Guys, here is my story. My daughter??s car was towed by Peaco from the parking lot where she worked. After tricking Peaco to come back out that day so that I could get my car, I sued the company. I won the law suit, maybe because they refused to show up for the trial. I was even awarded $500.00 in damages for pain and suffering. But, after three attempts to get them to court, Debbie Peaco came in under threat of a bench warrant, and claimed that the company had no assets and was going out of business. That the trucks were leases, the building was leased, her employees were all volunteering their labor and that she was making payments to the truck leasing company and the building owners with cash (she never said were the cash came from). This was such a transparent lie that it was insulting. But the judge in the case seemed exasperated with me because I felt the courts should do more to compel her to show what she said was true with documentation. It seems like its all up to me to get her to pay. So, if you want Ms. Peaco to pay for her rude and insulting behavior than I could use your help. You can email me at healr@verizon.net and we can see that this company really shuts down. Put the word "Peaco" in the subject box.

Peaco or whatever this stupid company is called I hate them with a passion. I am not an angry person but they make me wanna beat all of them and close down their rip off so called stupid service. This idiot comes and some how moves my car and than towes the car but my pregnant sister in law was standing there with the key before he hooked it. But he was being rude and almost ran her over and shes pregnant and sped off with the car even though the road was bumpee. So I call the office and this retareded lady answers the phone and she was extremely rude and evil. She tells me I can not pick up the car because they are closed but they had just towed the car like 5min ago. she kept on saying we are closed and you need to come tomorrow morning to pick it up so by this point i just wanted to hurt her. and people wonder why people suddenly lose it. I hate this company I hope one day someone teaches them a lesson.

Countless times, this particular towing company has made the news and is the topic of many very angry conversations. Stories of these guys towing you while you are STILL IN YOUR CAR, for one example. I was parked for no more than 10 minutes to drop by, pick up a friend and go out in a designated parking area. Yes, that was my first mistake, and I will accept that-- however, upon calling Peaco within a minute of seeing my car gone, I was spoken to like some kind of moron, then found out my car was not even a mile away, just pulling out of the area from towing my car, and they wouldn't return it. I could have paid it and got it back, but they said that I had to pay $100 dollars if I wanted it back that night (after 11pm), or come in the next day and pay $65. I asked where this place was and I was told "School Street, just take Staples Mill" and was hung up on. After finally getting there the next day, I was told I could not take the car back until I had proof of insurance since the car is not registered under my name, but I am under the insurance policy. I was talked to like a used car sucker, that he is trying to help me out and that no other towing company in the area is this lenient, which is not true. If you want to be talked to like a sucker, and put up with shady business from the git-go, then leave your car parked an inch into a no parking zone-- Teaco just may sneak up and take your car even with the engine still running. I was charged $205 to get my car back.
