haven't ever even been onsite. have heard mixed reviews from some friends in the neighborhood that go there. they either love 'em or hate 'em.
just called for estimate on replacing plugs, wires, and distributor cap on '04 nissan xterra.
the gentleman on the phone said he thought that model needed to have the air intake removed to access the plugs so it would cost around $800. when i informed him that, no, the air intake does not need to be removed to access the plugs, he told me that it would be just over $400!!
The highest estimate I got anywhere else was $225.
Also, removing the air intake mechanism on a 2004 nissan xterra takes all of about 30 seconds.
If, like many people out there, I didn't know anything about cars, this place would've taken me for a ride to the tune of 4 times the cost of anywhere else. Yikes!!

Excellent, honest service at a reasonable cost. Once they suggested I see the dealer for a problem because it was covered under warranty! It was covered and I had a new transmission installed at no cost. Obviously an unscrupulous mechanic could have charged me many $$$.

My car is an old Mazda Miata and it broke down in front of the Japanese Auto Clinic about 5 years ago. The gentlemen who work there came out and pushed my car into the shop. I thought the repairs would be outrageous since my car broke down in front of the shop! They ended up charging me about $200 and my car worked great. I was shocked, because I never got away from the dealer for less than $500. Since then, the charge is always a fraction of the dealer. From my experience, they do not do ANY unnecessary work. And, they are quick...I think I've had same day or immediate service for all of my repairs. Oh, and 4 of my friends have all been amazed with the service and price. I hope that you will go there. They are good people and experts at what they do.
