I came here to get professional and personal framing done for my boss because Mario was able to do what no one else could. My boss was so pleased that I have come back for at least 4 projects! The quality and service was exemplary! I would highly recommend Alexandria's Fast Frame on Duke Street and its owner! You will not be disappointed.

I came here on a Saturday to get a poster framed. The owner helped me pick out a frame, and we agreed that it would be ready to pick up on the following Tuesday. When I returned on Tuesday (around 3pm), the door was locked, even though the store doesn??t close until 6. A groggy proprietor came and unlocked the door. It looked like he had just woken up, and he didn??t seem to recognize or remember me. My poster, in fact, wasn??t ready, and the owner asked if I could come back the next day. I called the next day, Wednesday, only to be told that it still wasn??t ready, and wouldn??t be ready until Thursday. I explained how we had originally agreed that the poster would be ready on Tuesday. The owner replied that, if I could come late in the afternoon, after 5pm, he??d have it ready. When I arrived in the store, I walked in, and no one was around. I most certainly heard light snoring from the back of the store, and, sure enough, after awhile, the owner emerged, again looking groggy and disoriented. He pointed to a framed Edward Hopper portrait, wrapped and ready for pick up, on the floor, and seemed to think that this was my poster. It was not. He apologized, baffled. I asked for my poster back, so I could go get it framed somewhere else. He went into the back only to bring out another poster that wasn??t mine. When I told him it wasn??t mine, he went again into the back to look for my poster, but returned to say that he had lost it. He then asked if I??d like to help him find it. I took two steps into the back, and found my poster still in the cardboard tube I had dropped it off in. It was resting on a workbench, next to a toolbox with a half-empty bottle of vodka in it. Thankful he hadn??t so much as touched my rare and valuable poster, I promptly turn around and left the store without so much as another word. I believe that, when I came to the store on Tuesday and Wednesday, the proprietor was drunk. His inability to remember me, to complete the job I requested, or even to show some base competence has made sure that I??ll never go to this store again, and I think giving this place even one star is too generous.
