I recently purchased a 2003 Honda Accord EX V6 for my son to drive while at college. After agreeing to a great price, My wife and I flew in from Texas to take delivery and drive the car home (1500+ miles). Once the paperwork was complete we departed for home. Within 100 miles of our trip we had a check engine light engage and returned to the dealership. Our salesman Tommy Luk immediately sent us to the sister store Landmark Honda. We were then informed the vehicle had to have a new throttle body/almost $1000.00. When you are 1500 miles away from home and have just purchased a vehicle as is NO WARRANTY, you start to get a little anxious with this kind of news. At this point I had the opportunity to meet and talk with the Manager of Audi of Alexandria Darin Lowdermilk. Darin did the right thing, by approving the repair. Several things come to mind about our experience, honesty, integrity and professionalism. If I don't communicate anything else to the buying public remember this, some people do the right thing when no one else is watching and these people are in that elite category. Thank you Darin for delivering a great buying/life experience!

Dropped off my 2011 R8 to this dealership and they solved the problem within 2 hours. I told them I didn't need the car back for at least 2 weeks and they called me within 2 hours to tell me it was fixed. I called Audi of Tysons and they claimed it would take at least three business days to diagnose the problem..

To start off with, I NEVER write reviews, but this experience was SOOO Bad I needed to write one to warn people away. I went to this dealership to buy a new audi to replace my old one. I have had my audi for years and bought it in another state. I know there are a lot of audi dealerships in the area, but decided to give this one a try. What a mistake, they were completely unprofessional and RUDE. I had done my research before I came, my family and I have been a valued Audi customer for many years. Everyone there had the worst customer service, from the sales manager on down. They made it seem like a favor that I was buying a car from them. I have never had a worse car dealership experience. The sales manager was like the typical used car salesman, changing the price at the last minute. I don't know when a reputable company like audi started hiring inexperienced folks to work for them. I recently went to Tyson's Audi with my wife and we bought a wonderful A6. We are planning on going back to replace my wife's car with a TT. I highly recommend if you are planning on buying a new audi to go to tyson's, they are very professional and great customer service.

My favorite dealer for servicing my Q7. I have been a Audi owner for 5 years and have never felt more comfortable getting my cars serviced at the dealership in Audi of Alexandria than I did at Any other dealer or service station before.

WORST DEALER EVER!!!
NO ONE CARES AT ALL!!!

*****Any positive reviews have been posted by Audi staff.

I have called Audi multiple times and even gone in to the dealership to find a manager and have never heard from one.

The rental cars and staff cars on the street are really frustrating me when I get home from work and I can??t park. I walked in once asking for a manager ??unavailable?. So I talked to the rental car guys and asked them to move their cars. They did but started again when it was snowing and there wasn??t anywhere to park. They took my spot that I shoveled out! I called again asked for a manager told the person answering phone the problem and I wanted to speak with management because this is ongoing. No call back but the rental guy moved the car within 30 minutes of my call. Now one of their mechanics parks in front of my house and smokes cigarettes at his car on breaks. Then flicks them in my or my neighbor??s yard and gutters. I called again and surprise the manager was busy. I left my name and number. No call back within 30 minutes so I filled out the quick contact me form on their web site with this:

I have now called 3 times and left messages with the person answering the phones asking to speak with a manager to inquire about employee and rental car parking on Duncan Ave. It is very discouraging to have never received a return phone call. I would like to know Audi's stand on this. If employees and the rental car people are not already asked to park elsewhere I would really appreciate it. Hyundai does a great job with this and I wish Audi would follow their lead. It is very frustrating to come home after work and not be able to park on my own street. I know I am not the only person on the street that feels this way.

I have yet to get a single call and the same employee continues to loiter and smoke cigarettes in front of my house and take street parking.

This is just my bad experience my friend bought a straight lemon from them and they would not honor the lemon law so he parked his car infront of the location and put signs in his windows stating they are ripping him off. THEY CALLED THE POLICE!! wow they realy are tope notch huh?

Audi Of Alexandria is overall the best dealership ever. The salesmen were so wonderful. I was never pressured while shopping and no matter how many cars I wanted to test drive, they were always accommodating. I finally did find a car that I loved and I still love it. The price was below the Kelly Blue Book and it included a 2 year warranty. I would totally recommend this dealership to anyone interested in a new or used Audi. I haven't been this satisfied with a purchase in years. specially when a car was involved. Audi of Alexandria has gone under new management recently and the turn around of this dealership has been remarkable. You can see a visible atmosphere change in every department here. It truly is a pleasure to walk into a place like this. This was my second time in this facility within six months.

My wife and I bought an '09 A4 from Audi of Alexandria after assurances from the sales and managment staff that they would always stand behind the car and provide us with great customer service after we had made the purchase. They did not keep their promise of good service.

The service staff chipped the pain on the hood while the car was in for its first service and the service manager refused to fix it until I showed him other complaints on car sites from previous customers and neighboors of the dealership who have seen service and sales team members throwing footballs and other items that hit the cars.

We were told that we would be provided with an Audi loaner car when the car was in for service. They have only provided this service once and I have been lied to on several occassions about their ability to provide an Audi vehicle. They are told to tell you that they cannot provide Audi loaners anymore because of new ownership. If you press them they will do it, but then the next time you call for service they will not call you back.

When a rock hit my windshield I called Audi of Alexandria to ask about getting a new one. They told me that I should insist on getting the windshield replaced by them even if I had to pay extra to my insirance company because Sfe-lite, they said would not be able to hook-up all of the connections etc and woud do a sloppy job. I agreed to pay extra and have the dealership replace the glass. They did not reconnect all of the electronics in the wineshield correctly and got glue on the inside of the car. It took them two months to schedule me for an Audi loaner and then when I got there they made me wait for an hour and then said no Audis were available.

After buying the car, which was not easy because of constant "miscommunication" between our sales person, Danny, and his bosses. We were told over and over again to rate them as 5 star when we were contacted. We explained to Danny that we would not be comfortable giving them that rating and he became very upset and said he would not get paid and they may fire him and that it was not his fault. He blamed the "miscommunications" on his bosses. We gave him the 5 star rating and when I called back back to check on the mudd-mats Danny said he would order he told me to order them myself and then stopped returning calls.

I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this dealership. I love the car, but I cannot stress enough that it is not worth owning if you will have to deal with this dealership.

Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. Everyone at the dealership was very focused on giving great customer service. Made sure I was comfortable with the process and the results. The dealership had a good atmosphere and "vibe" when you walked in. I would recommend this dealership top to anyone interested in getting a top notch service, or sales experience and does'nt have time for the drama of the other dealership.

My favorite dealer for servicing my Audi A4. I have been a Audi owner for 5 years and have never felt more comfortable getting my cars serviced at the dealer than I do at Audi of Alexandria.

The parts and service advisors are very friendly and professional and the technicians do a great job. I live in a rural area about an hour away, and they always try their best to get my service done asap since I can't drop off the car and need to wait until it is ready.

Excellent service advisors that never try to push services that you don't yet need. I will keep returning for years more to come.

I have had such an excellent experience with both Audi of Alexandria's Sales and Service Department. I live in Tyson's Corner and instead of driving 1/2 mile to HBL, I always take the extra time to go to Alexandria. IT IS WORTH IT! I will first talk of my sales experience and then of my incredible service experience.

I am still a proud owner of my Audi A4, but my fiance and I had started thinking more long term and decided to buy a larger car for trips and the possibility of children in our future; we therefore decided on a new A6 4.2 for myself. We first went to HBL and the sales department was a little pretentious and didn't take us seriously at first...finally though they realized we did want to walk out with a car that day and they ran our credit score, which happens to be impeccable. I had found the A6 I wanted and so back to finance we went. Horror! The older white man in charge of finance was downright rude to us and despite a great credit score, actually being able to afford buying the car etc... we ended up walking out. It was that bad.

This is when I discovered Audi of Alexandria. I worked with Danny, an honorable, fair, and trustworthy sales person. I told him the price I wanted to pay (please bare in mind that I am a reasonable person and do understand the sales person needs to make a commission - but I would never pay above invoice.) Danny was straight up with me and told me exactly what he could do for me. It was great - no haggling, just an easy transaction fair to both sides. I will be buying all of my cars from Danny in the future; a few months later, my fiance decided he wanted another BMW, but this time a brand new M3. Since the same people own BMW of Alexandria - I sent him there. Again, no hassles and he paid under invoice for a beautiful brand new M3.

Financing was wonderful for me. I worked with an Asian gentleman - I believe his name was Roger. He gave me a deal for 1.9% financing and again, everything went extremely smooth. Easy - not the dreaded car buying experience you hear about all too often.

Now, Audi of Alexandria deserves such praise for the ethical, competent and efficient practices of it's service department. I had taken my A4 in for it's last major service before the warranty expired. At the time I was ill and had the vehicle towed back to my home after the service was complete. About a week later, I found that the A4 would barely start and was not driveable. My first reaction was - "oh my god, I took my car in for service and it came back broken," but this WAS NOT the case at all - which I would find out shortly after losing my temper, sending a terribly mean email and posting bad marks for the service department on the internet. Silly me.

I sent the emails, made the calls, posted bad remarks about the department online that night and I kid you not, by 8am the next morning, the manager had tried calling me 5 times and emailed me to resolve the issue. The manager, Bob Shnayer, was appalled that there was a problem with the vehicle. He personally came to my house with his foreman, Eric, to look at the vehicle and take it back to Audi himself - completely went above and beyond. It turns out there was an electrical problem that was beyond anyone's control. Bob kept me updated daily and explained everything to my fiance and me. I was not charged a single penny and was treated so kindly. The situation was treated as urgent and whenever I phoned the service department, every single tech knew all of the details of my problem and was extremely polite. The service was fast and the car runs better than I can remember. The service team took great care of me and I am so thankful that there are still business' that exist that actually care about customer service and reputation.

If you don't live in Alexandria and are looking for a BMW or Audi, these are the folks to go to and continue your service with - even if it means a longer drive. I promise you, it will be worth your time and you will never feel as if you are getting ripped off or being misinformed.

Whatever management is doing, hiring the best techs, sales people, and training them to be ethical and customer oriented - it is extremely apparent as soon as you pull into the lot or phone in for the first time.

Best of luck to all Audi lovers and thank you again Audi of Alexandria!

Bought a two years old 2002 model year Audi sedan at Audi of Alexandria in the summer of 2004. I paid cash for it.

After two years, Audi of Alexandria had still not provided me with a title for the vehicle. I had to go to civil court in Alexandria and sue them for it, which had cost me $1,500. Only after all that would they give me the title for the vehicle for which I paid cash to them years previously.

Of course, I could not drive the car after a while, as it could not be registered w/o a title.

BEWARE: If you want to take title to a car that you buy here at Audi of Alxandria (instead of leasing it), shop elsewhere.

BTW, the Virginia state agency that was supposed to "regulate" these fricking monster car dealer fraudsters was of no help at all, as in Virginia the state colludes with the businesses it is supposed to regulate. Never again will I ever purchase anything from a Virginia-based business. They are all crooks there, apparently, condoned by the state agencies that are supposed to "regulate" them.

What a cruel joke!!

Oh, I forgot to say, I had heard it later that the SALES MANAGER was threatened to be whacked by at least half a dozen "satisifed customers."

I also heard that their SERVICE MANAGER at the time was a real pile of crap human garbage, too.

BTW, my fiance's 2004 TT Coupe just blew its engine -- at 46,600 miles and 49 months after purchasing it brand new. Audi refused to pay for the repair, which cost her $4,900. Beware of Audis and Audi USA, Friends. They are the biggest fraud around in North America.

I would never buy ANYTHING made in Germany any more.

I bought my A6 from MI then moved to Alexandria. I took my car to Audi of Alexandria to have a front license plate holder on the car. This is a no cost option from dealers. Audi of Alexandria wanted to charge me not only for the license plate holder but also an hours labor to install it. When I told them that it shouldn't cost me anything because it is a no cost option, they simply told me that since I didn't buy the car from them there was nothing they would do for me. I talked to the manager and he ignored my protest. I ended up calling the dealership in MI who sent me the license plate holder for no charge and then instructed me how to install the item. The attitude I encountered there was terrible. I never thought that dealerships made a difference (especially for higher priced cars) but the difference between the place I bought my car and Audi of Alexandria is night and day. I also called Audi of America and talked to their customer service people who agreed that the part is free but said they had no control over what their individual dealers did.
I won't buy an Audi again and if I was it certainly wouldn't be from Audi of Alexandria.

I purchased a used Audi A4 and was told that it came with a 3 year service included. Nope. Not so when I took it back for routine service. Then when I got it back (after over $1300) it ran worse than before I took it in. I will NEVER buy another car from them, as soon as they get your cash they don't care about you.

I went to this store last week in search of an A6. It was raining, so there was not much happening in the showroom, yet I spent twenty-five minutes waiting around and peeking at the showroom cars. Even though the salesfolk noticed me milling about, not a word was was said to me for nearly a half-hour. I left in disgust, then drove two hours in some of the nastiest DC traffic to Rockville and bought an A6 Quattro.

I decided to do them a favor by informing the store manager of my experience, but his interest disappeared the second he learned that I had already purchased a vehicle elsewhere. Truly the hallmark of incompetence.

PROS: Convenient location for NoVA residents
CONS: Miserably overcrowded lot, snobby salespeople, indifferent management

I live next door to this dealership and I feel very sorry for Audi owners. I will never buy an Audi because of the horrible things I see.

First of all, the mechanics drive all the cars that have been brought in for service. That part is fine, but they're driving them to McDonald's and 7-11, stop and get food, and then come back eating in the cars. That's it. I've followed them and seen it happen.

Second, the little bit they do drive, they are driving like maniacs. A mechanic once drove an Audi out of the garage into another car. I saw it happen and I saw them doing body work on both cars the next day. I hope they told the owners about it.

The carwashes they give before returning cars are actually forbidden by zoning. So the driveway is totally torn up because of the water damage. The alignment on my car is constantly messed up because of this. Of course, the mechanics drive the cars in for service at high speeds over the potholes.

The mechanics also spend about three hours a day in nice weather playing football in the driveway. I can't tell you how many times I have seen a football or a mechanic slam into the hood of a car left there for service.

Not to mention, they are incredibly rude. They park cars brought in for service in the fire lane. I've started calling the fire department. I am pretty sure the owners will be ticketed, rather than the dealership. The old service manager, who no longer works there, was the rudest person imaginable.

Their employees park in the apartment building lot, even though they are not supposed to. When the glass repair subcontractor comes, they do it in the apartment lot, even blocking in residents cars. The day my grandmother died, I had to wait an extra 2 hours to leave my apartment because a mechanic had instructed a tow truck driver to drop a car off behind my car, and they wouldn't move it, even though I was sobbing in their office asking them to move it so I could go see my mom.

They are absolutely terrible, horrible human beings. Whenever I have complained about any of the behaviors (and I have photos of these things now!), the old service manager told me I was making it up.

You shouldn't bring your car here because they will treat it terribly.
