Pros: Best indian food in town

.

We've been to this restaurant 3 or 4 times now within the past year. Each time my husband and I have tried something different (but the bread basket is a must!). We've never been disappointed. The service is wonderful and the food is always delicious. They truly listen to you (yes, I *did* tell them 'hot' and that's what it was).

I couldn't figure out where I wanted to go for dinner. I thought of all the regular places but knew I wanted something different. That's when Milan popped in my mind. I'd never been there before, but I was interested in trying it.

When I walked in the door, I definately felt under dressed. I didn't realize that it was a fine dining restaurant, and I was wearing jeans. That's ok though, they didn't seem to mind and welcomed me with open arms.

When they seat you, they bring you these delicious brick oven made chips and a special dip. I've never tasted anything like it (I mean that in a good way).

The food took a while to come to our table (a LONG while) but that's to be expected, considering the type of overns they use. It was well worth the wait though. My curry chicken (which you can order as mild or hot as you like) was scrumptious. I couldn't finish it all, but I didn't mind. I was glad to have some to take home and eat later.

The serve kept my wine glass filled at all times (as well as my water) and was very friendly. I particularly loved that he took the time to explain what was in each meal to my cousin and his wife (they've never had indian cusine before).

I left there very fulfilled and happy. I would definately recommend giving them a try if you don't mind waiting a bit longer for the food to cook.

PROS: Delicious food, curteous staff, friendly servers
CONS: long wait for your meal

If you enjoy Indian cuisine, Milan is a great option. If you don't know that you enjoy Indian food, Milan can be a great place to explore. With a daily inexpensive lunch buffet, there are many delicious foods to sample and there is no pressure to know what to order. The staff has always been freindly and attentive. It's an enjoyable experience.

I went to this restaurant with my wife. We are from India and wanted to have a nice Indian dinner. The decor and ambience of the restaurant was fine. Although the restaurant seemed to be almost full, we were surprised that there were almost no Indians at any of the tables other than us. Of course, the food then explained this element of surprise. I have never eaten such tasteless and bland food at any Indian restaurant ever. The menu is overpriced, the quality of food is awful. Biryani was the worst, it tasted like plain rice + curry. Lamb tandoori was undercooked and fibrous. Chicken tandoori was tasteless. The bottom line is if you are an Indian avoid this place at all cost and save your $$'s.

MILAN IS AN UPCOMING INDIAN RESTAURANT WITH WONDERFUL STAFF.THE FOOD IS ALWAYS FRESH, TASTY, AND VALUE FOR MONEY. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND QUICK TO ANY QUERIES. SERVICE IS GOOD. WISH THEY COULD DO SOME STRONG INDIAN INTERIOR DECORATING , THAT COULD ADD THE AMBIENCE MORE ROMANTIC AND SOOTHING.
