A Good deal gone bad

by Sean L.

I was provided with a deal to trade in my two vehicles for two Nissans at Passport. I had to deal with my salesperson all through this as the sales manager was "too busy" to seal this deal.I tried to upgrade with more $ on one of the vehicles, and again, the sales mgr was unavailable so we settled on one vehicle to come back to the 2nd car later.2 days later I return to seal the deal and was then presented with a deal for the 2nd vehicle at $1500 more than the Sat deal. I told the salesperson that was not what was offered to me originally on Sat, and the salesperson didn't have an explanation.Bottom line, I would not recommend this type of treatment to my worse enemy...who do they think they are in today's economy for buying a big ticket item like a car?I went to another dealer to get another vehicle and I was happy with my treatment and my trade in price there.I would never go back to Passport given the unnecessary time there waiting for the "Big Shot" to bless a deal....it's time to lay them off and give th

Bad Service, tried to charge me $$$ for a routine checkup and oil change

by Charles J.

I brought in my 2005 maxima for a 30,000 mile check up and oil change. I got a call 3 hrs later stating that the work had been finished and I almost fell out of my seat when the service manager said the service fee was almost 1200 dollars. He said they needed to replace a cataylatic converter. I reluctantly paid and went home. After doing some research, I later discovered that the emission equipment were covered under warranty and made my case with the service manager who finally told me that they would refund the charge and send me a check for the difference. After about 10 phone calls during a time of 6 months, I received my check. These people are very dishonest, I would avoid them like the plague.

I agree, sales practices were questionable

by steven a.

I went to Passport on October the 19th to inquire about a car advertised in the local paper. When I got to the dealer, the same thing happened to me. NO CAR, it was exchanged to another dealer, by Fred Shepherd, Sales manager. When I complained, he then told me to "get the hell out of here". Rudeness and unprofessionalism are my impressions of this place.

CHECK OUT PASSPORT'S BBB.ORG COMPLAINTS BEFORE READING

by Joe K.

Potential Consumer Beware!!

Check out Passport Nissan of Alexandria on the Better Business Bureau's website www.bbb.org and read the true complaints about Passport. These reviews here are not a true representation of this dealership. I posted my dissatisfaction about this dealership, only to have it replaced by all these fictitious positive raves.

Last 3 positive replies were all on the same day, how coincidental?

by Gene C.

Read all the post on 10/16/08, sounds like the same cons who tried to bait and switch me, this is how deceptive they are. I mean, if you wanted to seem believable, at least leave your positive feedbacks on different days. I had left a review for this dealership a week ago regarding their dishonest selling practices. The dealership is run by a bunch of lowlife cons with no integrity. Beware of their selling practices!! These lowlifes were aware that I had left a negative review on here and responded with these erroneous positive replies, all happening on 10/16/08. Their business practices is based on lies and deception.

LOVE MY NEW MAXIMA

by RODNEY M.

I have purchased vehicles from Passport Nissan of Alexandria. The last purchase was a 2009 Nissan Maxima. The best car ever. It is not over priced and the gas mileage on the highway is unbelievable. I thought my 2008 Nissan Altima coupe was great on gas but this vehicle is excellent. I have recommended all my family members to purchase a vehicle from this dealership and now when we have a family outing there are about 15 Nissans parked outside. My family loves them too. The salesman were great and the finance manager was excellent. They did not put any pressure on us at all. They simply asked us what we wanted and got it. The finance manager even called us to make sure everything was ok with our vehicle. The general manager came out to personnally to meet each family member at the time of the sales just because he did believe the family was so large. Now we have friends and family to purchase all types of vehicle from the dealership. Highly recommended dealership.

A Dealership that dosn't push you

by Kendra H. | insider Insider | Rank: 24,819

They don't push into buying if you are not ready. They don't look at you like you're carzy for saying, "I'm just looking". They work everything out for you. You just want to know what the estimate monthly payments will be they can do all that and more.

PROS: Buyer's rewards
