Caring Hands Animal Hospital

I've been using Caring Hands ever since I moved here in 2006. When a careless mistake by my apartment building's contractors caused my roommate's cat to fall off the balcony (our cats are exclusively indoors only and they left a window open and all 3 of our babies were suddenly outside), they immediately took him in and helped ensure his survival. Not only that, they explained everything that was going to happen and they helped me overcome my own shock!

Honestly, they are the best vets in the DC area and I highly recommend them!

I've had wonderful experiences with care for my puppy here.
The staff loves animals and is gentle and caring with them. They are prompt and always available which is convenient. They have state of the art technologies which means they are organized and very efficient. The only downside is this means they are expensive. I guess high dollar is expected for the location and quality of care

Caring Hands is the best for any pet. They are caring for my 19-year old cat and she is doing great. Front office staff is superb. Vet techs are terrific - they give all information needed for addressing a problem and for follow-up. Each vet that has treated my dogs and cats is superb. Highly professional and compassionate.

I found the opposite of the 1-star poster. I went and the staff was great. The doctor was very nice too, explained everything. clean place too.

Not as expensive as other places in alexandria, which was important for me.

I would bring my pet to the Alexandria Emergency rather than this place. It does not seem like a passion for these people, just a temporary job. Not caring hands on these guys.
