If you want your children to have diversity in activities, a stellar education, support for special needs & a caring environment then this place is NOT for you. They have no area for children to flourish accept behind the large house facilitated by the priests, and on most days you can see the children play on the car park. The curriculum isn't structured, nor are the teachers or accredited. The principal at this school is due to family being within the diocese, so don't expect any support from administration or the staff. We left due to an opening come up at another christian school as there aren't many opportunities within this school to advance and the attitudes of the staff and inner circle of parents

The small school is great. But most of these student will end up at St. Michael's. A struggling school run by the Brown family and others that are part of the small cult mentality.

Holy Cross is a much better choice. At least your students will have a future.

My husband and I did a lot of research when we moved into Spotsylvania County. We chose St. Patrick School for our child. Every kid has adjustment issues (making friends, fitting in,etc) any issue I had was immediately taken serious by Mr. Elliott and my child's teacher. I feel comfortable addressing any issues with any of the teachers, who all know my child and he is only in elementary grades. I founf the instructors have the one on one time to focus on his strengths and encourage him to build even stronger skills. He is ahead of other peers who are in public school in both math and language and he is learning Spanish, computers, art and religion. In addition, we have found that St.Patrick is a cost effective as well as safe, positive and encouraging environment. The older children are encouraged to assist the younger children and respect is taught, from my observations, by everyone, including the Principal. St. Patrick is in the process of developing a plan for a larger building and grounds, but in the mean time, my child has every experience of his public school counter parts and most importantly, he's happy and loves his school with pride.

As a mother of two young children, I already knew I wanted them to attend Catholic school but found few schools that followed the traditional Catholic standards that I was raised in. Then I found St. Patrick's.
My family became parishioners at the Church and I decided to learn more about the school. Fast forward 3 years and I see in my children the results I was hoping for. St. Patrick's in unabashedly Catholic, follow true Catholic doctrine (not politically correct nonsense) they teach their students from a young age that not only do grades matter but enriching the soul is even more important.
St. Patrick's is a small school (which I like)- the faculty/staff know you on a first name basis. I am very happy with St. Patrick's school and highly recommend it to other potential families who are interested in nurturing their childrens mind and soul.

We have been a part of St. Patrick School for more than 13 years and my family has thoroughly appreciated our investment in the school. The faculty and staff are caring and considerate of every child's needs, and academically we have been more than pleased with what St. Pat's has offered.

The curriculum at St. Pat's is a challenging one. Rather than teaching toward the Standards of Learning tests (SOL's), the students are offered a critical thinking experience. Especially in the upper grades, the children are expected to practice problem-solving, independent research, public speaking, etc. The math program is excellent, since it incorporates ongoing review of previous concepts.

Many of the students who graduate from St. Patrick School (our older daughter included) go on to take advanced academic classes in high school with much success. We believe that the demanding academic expectations placed on our children at St. Patrick School have prepared our daughters well for high school, college, and beyond.

Since St. Pat's is a smaller school, students are able to build their confidence in a family-like atmosphere. My husband and I believe that St. Patrick School has helped to form our daughters into thoughtful, hard-working and productive citizens. We would highly recommend St. Pat's!

St. Patrick School is an excellent choice for your family. The teachers and staff are caring and compassionate. There is an appropriate balance between religon and academics and the overall environment is family oriented.

The school and teachers are wonderful, the students are provided with a solid foundation in both academics and religion. The school's atomosphere is like a big family - St. Patricks is a safe and caring facility. Both my children have done very well in this school, my oldest is now in public high school and is well ahead of many of her classmates. It has been a great experience.
