I recently registered my children up for their "brand New" summer camp and have been amazed at all of the hard work the staff and director has put into the programming. The kids get to participate in specialty camps ever week so it is something new every Monday for them. They even have a leadership program for our rising 6th grader (whom we didn't feel comfortable leaving at home alone) I am so thankful for a program like this!

I signed my son up for swimming lessons here in the summer time and he absoluetly loved it. The swimming lessons were a little pricey but well worth it. Before he had taken the swim lessons he was very scared to get in to a pool, but by the end of the swimming lessons he was comfortable being in the water, and was well aware of all the dangers of running around a pool getting in the pool woth out an adult around and much more.

PROS: great programs
CONS: a little expensive

The Salem YMCA childcare center is wonderful. With busing to and from school as well as wonderful interaction my child is learning life lessons. Always there to make sure the kids are eating right Mrs. Donna keeps parents on their toes. Kidnergarten teacher Mrs. Michelle is a favorite for the kids. Lessons on home life, school activites and just how to be a goo citizen makes this place a must for kids. The price is very affordable too.
