i am an aircraft modeler and have been going to collectors lair for 10 years. they have awsome prices and bargains. if an item is broken, they will give you a discount or just give it to you for free. also, if they do not have an item that you want, they'll order it for youcollectors lair, U ROCK!!!!

The place is a complete mess, the people who work there are probably ex-cons, and the prices are way too expensive (especially considering the condition of many of the items laying around). You want a mint comic book? Not here--they are damaged by the time they hit the shelves. Not the nicest people either...I think they hate their lives and their job. Definitely avoid.

The scam artist has a name it is James.i have been going there for 7 years. and he is way better then the other guy in Lynchburg. he has always been fair to me and my freinds thanks Jason Boley altavista

This guy is a complete scam artist!!! He steals, lies and cheat to make a dishonest buck. He sells worthless stolen junk and counterfeit items. Save you money and go somewhere else...anywhere else for that matter. SCAM ARTIST!

In a smaller town you would expect it to be hard to find sports cards, rare dvds, and all types of entertainment memorabilia; however, the Collector's Lair meets all of these needs. I personally enjoy going there for their selection of dvds which are always buy 4 get 1 free. They are reasonably priced and have a revolving selection. Chances are if you are a fan of any particular movie or TV show, they will have some type of memorabilia for you. The only downside to the store is that it can be hard at times wading through a somewhat unkept store.
