This is a nice upscale restaurant with great food. Lots of variety and the service is always first class. We have had our Christmas lunches there for the past two years and don't have a single complaint.

I was at Bookbinders on a Friday night. The atmosphere was perfect. My husband and I were looking for a quiet dinner for the two of us and we got just that. We started our mean with an order of crabcakes and calamari. Both were the best I had had in a long time. The crabcake contained only delicious, fresh meat and light, flavorful seasoning to hold it together (no crumbs as filler at all!).

Then we had a salad course. I had the tobacco row, which was a perfectly portioned mixed green salad, but my husband substituted his side salad for the tomato, basil, mozzarella salad, which is an Italian favorite of his that didn't disappoint.

Our main course was the best of all. I had a two pound Maine lobster, which I was told they specialize in by the server, who couldn't have been more helpful. She was right to recommend it. I grew up in Maine and could not have hoped for more. The meat was sweet, tender, and juicy. It brought back old memories of growing up. My husband got the filet. Filet mignon is his favorite, but he likes it rare, which many restaurants can't master. His steak was perfectly cooked and went so well with the huge side order of garlic mashed potatoes that we shared.

The desert was amazing as well. We each had a desert coffee while I had the creme brule (the best I've ever had) and my husband got the chocolate cake, which was so impressively enormous that we enjoyed it again the next day at home.

I can't reccomend Bookbinders Grill highly enough. I had the restaurant experience of a lifetime there and will be going back again to try the seabass and keylime pie for sure.
