We switched our son to Happy Faces from another daycare when he was 5 months old. He has thrived since then (is now 12 months old)....leaps and bounds beyond what we would have had at another center. The teachers genuinely love the kids, and provide consistent care, which was so important to us. There was one instance that I had to pick him up due to illness and was visibly worried. One of the teachers called me at home later to make sure both I and my son were ok - way beyond what I'd have expected. I'd recommend Happy Faces to anyone with a child....infant to preschool.

My daughter came to Happy Faces Day Care as her "first day at school ever", and we expected her to cry for at least a week ( like her sister ), but to our surprise, she did not cry at all. She fit right in and the next day she did not want to stay home. It sound unreal but it is true, the problem was we only registered her for three days a week. So we had to change it to 5 days. The place is not big like other day care I know in Centreville but very neat and clean. Every time I come to pick up my daughter I always try to look at the floor, the toy place, the eating place, the place where your child naps ... to see if anything untidy or unclean. But I have to say that I am very impressed that everything are organized, neat and clean. They clean the floor right after lunch (it is still a little wet when I come after lunch). The only inconvenience is that your kid has to bring his/her own lunch. But the they warm the food and after lunch they clean the lunch container and put everything in place for you to get when you come to pick your kid up. I didn't expect that. The staff are very nice and my child brings home a lot of project she did after just one week.

To Whom It Mat Concern:
I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Happy Faces Daycare. During my daughters enrollment, I have been extremely impressed with the level of dedication Nayana Betchar and the classroom teachers have displayed toward her preschool experience.
Each day my daughter looks forward to going to school and playing with her classmates and we are always greeted with genuine smiles and good mornings as we walk into the classroom. The preschool provides a caring, safe and creative environment that allows my daughter to play and learn with ease.
It was with the help of Happy Faces Daycare that I discovered that I discovered my daughters special education needs. Mrs. Betchar identified resources and support that allowed me to maximize my daughters growth and development.
Id like to express my sincere gratitude for all of their hard work and concern. I have been very thankful and feel blessed to have been involved with a preschool that is second to none. I hope you will consider Happy Faces Daycare for your children

My daughter has attended Happy Faces for two years and I have never had anything but positive experiences. There is no better feeling than walking in in the morning and having her go over to her teacher and give her a hug and say, "I love you!" You can't find that just anywhere which is why we'll be staying with Happy Faces.
Thank you, Happy Faces, for being my daughter's home-away-from-home and allowing me go to work without worry!

My daughter has attended Happy Faces Daycare since she was 15 months old; she is now 3. She has made many friends and truly enjoys her days at school. The teachers are attentive to the children and collaborate with the parents on a daily basis. The kids sing, read, participate in arts and crafts, and learn from the Mother Goose Preschool Program. At the age of two, my daughter knew the alphabet and her colors/numbers; she was singing many songs and had a full vocabulary. My husband and I attribute most of her learning to the Happy Faces environment; I would recommend it to anyone!

Happy Faces daycare is family owned and very well run. My daughter has been going to Happy Faces for over two years (when she turned 3) and our experience has been wonderful. The teachers are caring and gentle, and there is low turnover. The school has lots of interesting toys and a nice play area. The activities are fun and the kids get lots of outside time. They have picnics, bike days, etc. The center is very, very clean. Because it is family owned, it is not impersonal like a commercial day care. I only wish the center had been open when my oldest child was young. I strongly recommend this center if you are looking for Daycare in Centreville. Julie M.

I am totally at ease with leaving my daughter with Happy Faces Day Care. She is always well looked after. When I pick her up she is clean, happy, and tired from all that playing!
