Art & Framing Guild Inc Ii Llc

I bought a painting in Venice, Italy on a vacation of a lifetime. I took it in to the Arlington store be framed in early December. It is now the end of February, the store is closed, and no one will return my calls or e-mails. My painting is gone, and so is my $350.00.

I went in to get my wedding picture and an original oil painting framed. They were gifts to my wife for our anniversary which was in 3 weeks. The owner assured me their craftsmanship is worth the very high price they charged. He was wrong. Not only did I find the exact same frames in Alexandria for almost half as much and less time, but the job was very sloppy. Two out of four corners on both frames where blatantly not balanced and there was a blue spot on the cream mat that was pretty obvious. When I complained and asked if he was going to fix that, he huffed and puffed and rolled his eyes while tossing frame samples on the counter. It took tense bickering between him and I in order for him to accept the fact that the job was not done correctly. Eventually he took the job back. It took another 2 weeks to get my painting and picture back. Needless to say they did not meet the deadline..
Not recommended.
