I have been going to Dr. Carr since I was a child myself now that I have 2 children I also take them to see Dr. Carr. I am very happy with the service they give me although sometimes there may be a wait, they will never turn you down if you are sick. I love the nurses there, and the whole staff. I've known them so long they are almost like a family to me. Although there used to be a diffrent staff, I am pleased to see some new faces. They are always going the extra mile for me and my kids being so friendly and always offering to help in any way possiable. The few times I have recieved a bill, the billing manager has always helped me the best she could and usually always got it taken care of for me. Dr. Carr is a very well educated man he has always been able to answer any question I had, he does not always make the greatest eye contact but he is always paying attention to me and my children. Debby the nurse practioner is wonderful also she is very friendly, and I enjoy seeing her too. I will continue to go to Stafford Pediatrics until they close, because I love them!

Took my boys to get their school physicals and I was not very impressed. I did not have a terrible experience but it was not a warm fuzzy feeling either.
I found the staff to be quite helpful actually and really pleasant so I had no problems there.
However I did take offense to the fact I was charged $5 each for them to fill out the school forms for the boys' physicals...as if I had a choice...I'd fill it out myself if I was allowed! I also was annoyed that they kept spelling my last name wrong even AFTER I corrected them!
Dr. Carr seems competent by not very personal. He talked about some of his concerns right in front of my children. They were comments that should have been reserved for moms ears only..my boys are 5 and 8. He did however take the time to refer me out to specialists that could better address some concerns and I appreciated that.
So, I was left underwhelmed and since I plan to be in the area for awhile I will be doing some looking around for a better match for my family...can't see going to this doctor for the next 12 years!

My children were recently transferred to Stafford peds. And I am ready to find another doctor! My daughter had her 8 week appt today at 11:30 and we were not seen until 1:00. When the doctor finally did see us it took a total of 12 minutes! He was impersonal, seemingly bored, rude, and made comments about my parenting of my 8 week old daughter that were not necessary! He laughed at 2 of my questions as if I was an idiot for asking. He would cut me off while I was talking. The staff behind the desk was rude and one of the ladies was on a personal call while I was waiting there. The entire experience was terrible.

for multiple reasons. They have been visiting this office for some time but after my visit this afternoon I was discusted. After a 1:30 wait, we got to the back and as usual the docter came in made no eye contact with myself or my child and began the exam that lasted less than 5 min. He spoke very quickly to my son, and used medical term. with him who is 7, and when my son didn't hear him or understand he stared at him breathing heavily and repeated himself as if my child didn't understand. The final time he did this I spoke up to translate to my son what he was to do and the doctor made a rude comment to me for doing so. My son was sweaty from playing outside on a 95 degree day we did not have time to shower. The docter went into the hallway which is directly in the line of sight of the exam room we were in and talked about my son smelling bad to the staff. UNACCEPTABLE! When we left I had to pay the co-pay the receptionist was on the phone for 3 min making a personal phone call. The do not have to worry about my children or any of my future children coming back.

This doctors office was unsatisfactory for a few reasons. The particular doctor that my daughter saw was rude, impersonal, and did not devote enough time to each appointment. I took my daughter for a preschool physical and the doctor took all of four minutes to do the examination. He asked if there were any questions when he was done and by the time i opened my mouth to ask any he was out the door. The staff at this office is okay, but they do not go out of their way to be friendly. The atmosphere in the whole office was negative and not what you would want for your child.
