First off I have searched all over for the store that could fit a harder size(aka me). When I first went to Trousseau it was on a Saturday,which anyone whose been there on a Saturday knows it can be a little hectic, but the staff was amazing. As being a plus size (and pregnant at the time) I obviously didn't feel pretty, but I had a mission to be fitted into the right size and hopefully find some comfy everyday basics to last throughout the rest of my pregnancy. After trying some bras on, the sales associate told me that I was in between cup sizes depending on the manufacturer (something about the difference between french and British). I was a little shocked on prices but an investment is going to last compared to my old walmart and target bras that weren't giving me what I needed. I did go back for nursing bras-they had to order some since they didn't have any in my "newer" size in stock. I am a very satisfied customer and will continue to shop at Trousseau's.

Wish I could give NO stars to Trousseau. I had high hopes for this store as I live within walking distance of it. Unfortunately (for them) this was not the case. I was in the store for over 10 minutes before anyone approached me. When the 20-something girl (and her "helper") finally did, they measured me for a band size, but told me that Cup sizes were just guesses. So, why was I in a "professional" store --I can guess at cup size all by myself as a department store, at much more reasonable prices. I was given 2 bras (as separate times) and was told to try them on even though they were not in my size. Mind you, at no time was I given ANY assistance in the trying out process. One bra style fit my needs; unfortunately, it was not in stock in my size--I was, however, allowed to try on a bra that was being held for another customer. The owner might like to know that these young girls soured a sale --I was ready to drop some $$$, After over an hour, I left the store greatly disappointed and angry. Several days later I travelled to Dor-Ne Corset Shop in Silver Spring, MD where I got fitted in 20 minutes and walked out with a better uplift (both physically and mentally) that believed possible. I shudder to think how these two insensitive twits would handle a mastectomy patient! They seemed to be only interested in the bridal set. BTW, the store looks like a bordello, too!

I cant believe I've finally found a shop that cares. I've been to all the others and as a plus sized woman the staff greeted me and understood my plight. But sure enough they able to professionally fit me with the most beautiful bra and pantie set. I will certainly highly recommend Trousseau to all my friends. They professional, courteous and truly care about their customers. Keep it up!

It is quite obvious that Unkind & Unhelpful never set foot in Trousseau! Hence why they are anonymous!They are incredibly helpful not only for me but also my husband (gift certificates) and teenage daughter. As a larger size woman it is very difficult to find lingerie. Not only does Trousseau carry large sizes (up to 56-K) but they provide complimentary alterations for a perfect fit. They take the time with my daughter making her feel comfortable with herself.

Some of the staff don't give a damn about you if you're not young and thin. When it was pointed out that nothing seemed to available in sizes other than "small" or "medium," the young staffer said "oh" and walked away. "Dedicated to the fine art of Romance." It's laughable.

I visited Trousseau for wedding undergarments and couldn't believe the selection. They'll even do free alterations on anything they offer. I've recommended Trousseau to other brides and have heard nothing but good things. The prices can be high but when the salesperson was helping me, she didn't direct me to the most expensive item...in fact, I think i came away with the perfect choice for my dress and it was one of the least expensive items in the store! Great find!

When I went to Trousseau for the first time, I was immediately impressed by their elegant selection and friendly staff. This place is perfect for hard to find sizes like mine. However it is so expensive, I only purchase something there if I can't find it elsewhere. For standard items like nightgowns, their prices are very high (not that they are overcharging - it's probably standard retail for high end items - but still expensive). I don't think they have a mailing list, so I don't know if/when they have sales.

I have been a customer of Trousseau for a number of years, and have always been impressed by the boutique's attentive and friendly staff. I had been wearing the wrong bra size for years until I happened upon this shop. The associates not only provided me with a precise fitting but also suggested undergarments would best suit my individual size. Bras now support me and fit comfortably.
Trousseau offers a range of stylish lingerie and accessories largely moderately priced to pricey for the truly unique or one-of-a-kind items. The proprietress has even accommodated me on special orders. Trousseau also stocks difficult-to-find sizes. (I wear one of them.) For a custom fit, alterations are gratis. A goof with alterations on a very expensive item was all but completely corrected. (After two alterations, I decided skip a third; it was good enough.)

I've been buying my lingerie here for years. Unlike Victoria's Secret, Trousseau carries sizes for women with larger chests (and doesn't make us feel like we have two heads when we ask for them). On top of that, the styles are CUTE, and not the plain white minimizers that other places seem to think large-breasted women need!
Their stuff is pricey, but you get free alterations for the life of whatever piece needs it, so it's a great deal.

I got my wedding undergarments at this shop! The staff was so helpful in finding me something that wouldn't show under my dress and that would flatter my body type. It was a little pricey, but they do free alterations.

I bought a longline bra for my wedding here. Service was great, all the staff was helpful. Alterations are free, which is an added bonus...but the stuff is a bit pricey. My bra was taken in too much during alterations, and the only solution was to put a bra extender in it, since it couldn't be let out. I probably won't wear it again, so I'm upset I paid a lot for a one-use bra, but it was the only one I found after much looking that didn't show under my dress so it served it's purpose!

We loved shopping here for bridal accessories for the bridesmaid and bride. The staff knew a lot about weddings and were very helpful with suggestions and not pushy at all. We found the bride's garter belt and corsages for the brides. I would shop here again! Recommended for their great service and convenient shopping location.

The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The woman I worked with thought I could be one of two sizes so without rushing me she ordered one in each size, allowed me to try them both and then purchase the one I wanted. They are, however, fairly pricey.

They are way overpriced, just like most bridal stores. But for undergarments especially, they are the perfect place to find exactly what you want and then look elsewhere for a better price. The selection of veils was not impressive, nor was the extras they had, but the undergarments were perfect. If you hit a sale or something, it might be the perfect place to buy, because the staff is extremely knowledgeable.

The prices there are high, but I comparison shopped and they were the same as the department stores for what I ultimately purchased. They have a fantastic selection and a very good staff who knows how to find the peice that best suits you. They measure correctly and give you a good selection to choose from. They can get busy on the weekends, make an appointment if you can.

A friend of mine recommended I check out Trousseau's when I was complaining about some of the lingerie stores in the malls. Trousseau is so much nicer. The staff are very helpful, alhtough the first time I went there were several brides there getting their undergarments fitted for their dress. Otherwise they have an excellent selection of classy items, I'll definately be going back (but probably during the week to avoid the weekend rush)

I never thought I would find a lingerie store so helpful. I looked their for some of my wedding accessories. Most of their things were out of my price range but I ended up having them custom make my shoes (which was actually cheaper than a lot of the other shoes I looked at). My fiance is the same height as me and wanted me to wear flats. They took a pair of ballet flats and customized them to match my dress. I loved them (and to top it all of my feet were so comfy that night).
PROS: great staff and products
CONS: way pricey

This is a great little shop in Vienna that specializes in bras and lingerie. Unfortunately, they dont have any nursing bras and I also think that they dont carry anything for those in larger sizes. They have amazing headpieces for wedding veils. They are handmade by someone locally. They are a little pricey, but worth it for something unique that can be passed down. They are also located in a strip mall so dont let that throw you off.
PROS: unique items, easy in and out
CONS: pricey, no nursing bras

I have been a customer of Trousseau for many years. I am a full figured woman and have been only able to find my size with great selections of lingerie and sleepwear at Trousseau. The staff is not only friendly they have been trained extensively and are all sizes. Trousseau not only has the products I want they perform complimentary alterations and special order products for me. They even contact me when new products arrive that I might like. They also maintain a secured database of my preferences so my husband can buy me gifts that #1 fit and #2 I'll like. They are great!
Pros: Great Service, Great Selections, Know What They are Doing!!
