Bad service, bad price gouging, waited in line for an hour... felt like waiting in line at a rollercoaster at 6 flags... herded in like cattle and at 6'4" was extremely uncomfortable in the seats/chairs/tables (more like endtables)... felt a bit like kindergarten student chairs.

Wondering about fire code... felt really nervous if something went wrong how were we going to get out. (maybe jumping from tabletop to tabletop). Waiters can't even get through to tables without stepping all over everyone. Passing food down like i was at a baseball game.

Reservation staff rude, not informed, gave me the wrong dates for free ticket redemption and then hung up in my face! Called back to speak to manager... he was "busy" but would call me back... (never did).

The only reason headlining comedians come is they make a lot of money to do a show at the VBFB. **Apparent with the insane prices**

Don't go unless there is a really good comedian you want to see. BE SURE TO EAT AND DRINK BEFORE YOU COME!

Service is horrible... no knife no fork for my salad and steak... no napkin either... had to wait until my steak was cold to get silverware. Had to "borrow" extra napkins from another table nearby.

Tips already included in your bill... so wait staff doesn't care how they take care of you... they still get their tips no matter how bad they are.

Asked for ketchup with my bucket of fries (appetizer) and got an ugly look from the waitress. She came out with a tablespoon of ketchup in a little plastic dipping cup for a pound of fries that feeds 4 people.

Xeroxed paper signs taped to the walls to herd you around and show you the bathroom.

All around a big money scam... anyone who has an IQ over 30 can figure out they are making a ton of money and rolling their customers over the coals.

They need to change out management and get that place under control.

You can tell management is posting "good" reviews to try and counter all of the "bad" ones. The langauge used is just like a commercial in their posts.

Overpriced, rude and nasty staff, Confusing xeroxed paper signs everywhere. Too small, they cram into a tiny table with strangers. The comics were great but the venue SUCKS! no joke.

I went to the Funny Bone last night and had a less than stellar time. My party of 9 got herded in like cattle, and our server refused to seat us together at a large table (several were available), instead breaking us up at 3 separate tables because he was in too much of a hurry to accomodate any requests. He also never brought my wife th e drink she ordered, though customer service probably wasn't a main concern, since the 15% tip was automatically added in. The act (Paul Mooney) wasn't very entertaining and dragged on forever, especially considering it was a late show, though this wasn't really the club's fault, Avoid this place if you can.

We vistied the Comedy club and thought the atmosphere was great, very nice and clean, we were not happy with the service. The show it self was ok, not the fault of the club itself just not our kind of entertainment. As for the club, we were not impressed by the staff or the choice of food. Food is limited, and very expensive and so are the drinks. We saw several people escorted out for talking. Which I think was childish.

Who would have thought that such a cool comedy club could be found outside of Los Angeles or New York? But there it is, the Funny Bone Comedy Club & Restarant right in Virginia Beach!! They bring in some really funny talent and you get to enjoy it all in a causal, relaxed, fun atmosphere. The food is really good, too. For me, these best of both worlds - great laughs and really good food. I think you'll really enjoy it. But not for the kiddies; adult humor!

I have been to see many shows here. I love the selection of comedians. Very nicely designed and decorated. Food is good, not a huge selection, though. Security is quick on the spot to escort the "not so fun" people in the audience out if necessary, so everyone else can enjoy the show. Resevations are usually required, which limits spur of the moment trips. Two nights of the week Smoke-free shows are offered. I can't wait to go to another show!
