We ate at Boudreaux's for the very first time tonight. We havent been in the area very long and have been looking for a Cajun style restaurant. The menu looked like just what we were looking for. We ordered two apps. Oysters Rockefeller and Cajun Popcorn. The Oysters Rockefeller were not very good at all, the spinach underneath was horrible so we ended up just eating the oysters off the top which were soggy but at least edible. The Cajun popcorn was pretty good, I would definitely order that again. I had Coq au Vin and my wife had Jambalaya. The chicken on my dish was very soggy but the sauce was delicious. My wife said her Jambalay was ok but she wouldn't order it again. We did have several drinks while we were there and they seemed to have there stuff together at the bar because they were awesome. I wouldn't go back unless I wanted to just get a drink.

Went to Boudreaux's on my birthday. The place wasn't even that busy, but our appetizer took approx. 45 min. Once we got our gator bites we were extremely disappointed as to how few we had actually received for the high price. The po boy's were an even bigger disappointment when we received them at the 2hr point. The portions were ridiculously small for the above-average price, and to top it off my girlfriends po boy was ice cold. Even more insulting was the fact that when we asked to speak with management, the pissed-off waiter suggested microwaving the cold po boy. My sentiment was "I didn't pay ten freaking dollars for a microwaved sandwich!!". The only redeeming virtue was that the bartender/manager wasn't totally inept as he made some good drinks and hooked us up with a discount to compensate for the crap meal. A definite thumbs down!

Boudreaux's is one of my favorite places to eat in Blacksburg! Great ambiance, location, and a menu that offers a variety of dishes different from anything else you can find in Blacksburg. Their cocktail menu is fantastic- I highly recommend any of their mojitos! The coq au vin is delicious, as are their cajun po boys. This is one of the best restaurants in town to go to in the summer, where you can sit on the upper level under the lights and stars.

Awesome food, unique drinks, excellent service, and an all around great spot to eat. The roof top deck is a great place to grab a Mojito - especially in the spring.

Pros: Food and Drink, Service

Cons: Can get busy

Boudreaux's is a New Orleans style restaurant. The food is really good and unique. On Thursdays, they have a special on Belgian beers, which are very good. I would definately recommend the raspberry belgian beer.
