Nash Hair Design

I have been looking for a good hair stylist in the McLean/Falls Church area for a long time. I found Viviana from on line reviews. She is terrific! My hair is short and not easy to cut, but she makes it look easy and for the first time in years I am getting compliments on my hair. She did highlights for the first time this week and they also look great! She's a good listener and really tries to do what you want. I highly recommend her!

I travel from my home in Ohio to Northern VA quite a bit, and make it a point to schedule my hair cuts at Nash's Hair Design rather than at home. Nash simply knows 'hair' ... The proof of a good hair cut is how is grows out, not just the way it looks when it's first done. I've not found another hair stylist with his skill and I've tried a great many! Nash is simply the best.

Recently moved to Falls Church and wanted to find a top hairdresser near home. I have high standards for a good cut and Nash knows what he's doing. He also demonstrated his talent as a colorist, taking my virgin dark brown hair to blonde (I was ready for something drastic). He is the kind of stylist who takes pride in his art and won't give up until he knows your satisfied with your look. Everyone I met there was lovely and all the other customers I saw received great cuts and color. I am so glad to have a salon this good near home.

Nash is a gifted artist. His work is exceptional, from highlights to cuts. I looked for years to find a stylist who could do something with my unmanageable curly hair. I tried salons all over the area from downtown DC to Georgetown to tony hotels in the suburbs. By chance I happened upon Nash in Falls Church of all places. His haircut totally transformed my look, and the great part is that I can maintain the style on my own.

I cannot say enough great things about Nash. He listens to what you do and do not want plus gives great ideas when you must have a change. I always feel beautiful when I leave and that's really the best test of all. Plus the salon is friendly and fun -- all the people who work here are terrific stylists.

I wish I can add more stars!!!!Nash Hair Design is hands down the best kept secret in town.Every one that works there is down to earth and sweet.I've been getting my hair done at Nash's for 9 years now.Nash is a hair cutting rock star but totally unassuming! I leave the salon looking like a celebrity.I'm completely addicted and you will be too!!!

I went to Amy and she was great! She listened to me, gave suggestions, and explained what she was going to do before she started. I've got a fantastic new color and cut that works for me and best of all is easy to do. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants great hair.

I went to Salon Nash based on fabulous reviews, but because I am so disappointed I feel obliged to write a critique (which I normally do not do). I went to Amy and asked for a trim and to keep the same lines/hairstyle. But, I got more than a trim and a different hairstyle that does not work for my hair type and is not my personal style. I had to get another haircut (which I had to get a good additional 2 inches cut to make it look decent and my hair was not that long). She also didn't style my hair--just dried it. I am not going back. It seems that the other stylists are great, but I cannot comment on their services.

Having gone to the same place in downtown DC for years, I decided yesterday to look for a place closer to home now that I live in Arlington. I found Nash's online and it sounded like it was worth a try: I was looking for great cut and color, but wanted to avoid the glitz and desperate housewives at Tysons Galleria which is where all the 'top', pricey salons seem to be in this area. Nash's exceeded my expectations: Amy was friendly, asked me exactly what I wanted, and also offered her own suggestions - everything ran smoothly, no waiting, no juggling of 2 or 3 customers at one time so you are waiting, and the cut and color are fabulous! If you are looking for a nice, friendly place that is not exhorbitant ($150 for FULL highlights, cut, and styling), not pretentious, and that you will walk out of feeling great - I would say run to Nash's. I went on Google and read the reviews about Viviana at Nash Hair Design. I decided to meet her and see if all the hype was true. Well, I was not disappointed. Viviana was so personable and listened to me and was what I had in mind. She suggested a few things that was probably what I needed to feel good about myself and the way I look. WOW!! I was gorgious after she was done. I felt this whole new me. It gave me an extreme uplifting and I couldn't wait to meet my friends at happy hour and to see if they notice my new me. Let's just say that it was a good feeling when I saw them. First they didn't know what was different about me. Lisa thought I lost 10 lbs. Jen thought I had plastic surgery. Then they realized it was my hair and a new look and they loved it. ( so did my husband...)

I went to a quick-cut place recently and ended up with a chopped up mess of hair. After reading the 'insider pages' reviews of Nash salon I called and made an appointment with Amy. Everyone at the salon was very nice and Amy listened to me and told me her plans before she starting cutting. I'm now sporting a cute short haircut for spring and already have received several compliments. I'll definitely be going back to this salon. It may cost a bit more than the quicky places but it's definitely worth it!

I really enjoyed my experience at Nash. Amy did the perfect color for me, she had great ideas for what should be done. She listened to my concerns and ideas. Which was very refreshing since I've had a hard time finding someone who will listen to me. I love it! The salon is very welcoming and warm, everyone was so friendly.
I will tell all my friends about this place, it's great!

I really like this salon the atmosphere was fun and friendly, yet still professional. My stylist was Viviana and she did a great job on the color and cut. I won't go anywhere else from now on I found the right salon for me.

I just got my hair highlighted and cut here. I really love it. My stylist was Amy and she did a fantstic job. The color is perfect and the cut was a good change for me. She had lots of good ideas for what would look good on me. I very happy with my experience and will tell all my friends about this salon.

I really liked this salon, the people were very friendly and it had a really nice atmosphere. My hair turned out perfect, I am so happy with it. I had color and a cut and I thought it was priced very reasonably. I will definitly go back.
