I've known the owners and most of the staff for many years. For the size of their store they manage to utilize the space with as much inventory as possible and take excellent care of all the animals they sell. As far as the gentleman in a prior review not approving of them getting their dogs & cats from local sources as opposed to his so called "reputable breeders" is WAY off base calling THEM puppy mills. I've found that most home based breeders take much better care and have much more interaction with their animals, and produce healthier, well-adjusted companions than the so called "large breeders" who I find to be puppy mills, constantly caged, little exercise, human interaction and love. Having been to many of both, I'll take a "backyard bred" puppy anytime.
Regardless of either type of breeder, I know the owners would only get their animals from reputable establishments (either small or large), that take good care of their animals.
I have yet to step into any pet store that rivals this one. There may be plenty that are bigger, slicker, and have a larger inventory but, they have what counts; pride in what they do, and true caring for their animals.
PROS: Great staff, responsible caring owners
I used to shop at this store, but then i found out that the animals in which they sell animals come from many backyard breeders, which i do not accept. I simply cannot spend my money in a store that supports backyard breeders and puppy mills. The dogs are adorable, but they do not come from respected breeders, and puppy mills are known for their maltreatment of animals. Why support such a store? I won't.

I visit this petstore everytime I go to Giant. The staff that work here seem to be fairly helpful. They have a very nice set up of aquariums in the back of the store. I tend to stop in and buy from them because they are a family operated business.
PROS: Good fish assortment
CONS: No room for puppies to play
