Student Book Store Inc

This is a great alternative to the official UVA bookstore. However, I don't buy the hype that you get better prices for your books. If you're looking for a good sweatshirt or something, this is a good place. If you're looking to sell your books, go to Half.com

The Student Book Store, in addition to every UVA-related accessory and accoutrement (baby-size cheerleader outfits, anyone?) offers a huge selection of textbooks at very competitive pricing. Definitely worth a visit to any student on a budget (is there any other kind) - new or recent editions are priced 15% to 40% below list and related materials such as DVDs or CD-ROMs are often still included (if applicable).

Also featured is a large inventory of dorm and apartment necessities, such as glassware, decor, and novelties. It's practically a UVA department store!
