The atmosphere is very unique. Palm trees, large fish tanks, stars on the ceiling... Kids get this really cool shark cup. The food is just as unique. Mango salsa coleslaw is delicious. Definitely try the oyster poor boy sandwich. They've got a pretty happening happy hour crowd too.

This is a great place for small groups and big fun. I always look forward to taking out of town friends to this place which is right around the corner from my house. The food is average (meaning not 5 stars but really good for what you pay for). Drinks are creative and everything they do has fun in mind. They don't take themselves too seriously, just a laid back atmosphere. good place for kids but as it gets later in the night the crowd changes into more of a party, seems like every time I've been there the late night is a different thing, sometimes Jimmy Buffet, sometimes Salsa latin, sometimes rock n roll, sometimes dance music. very confusing. never had an issue with service, but on the deck during nice evenings it is difficult to track down your server.
Bottom Line, this is a FUN place.

Mango Mike's needs to get a real Caribbean chef in its kitchen or at least a chef trained in Caribbean cooking before it can even try to say it serves this type of food. The food is typically overcooked, underspiced, bland and very overpriced. Nothing tastes fresh, especially the seafood. Great place for drinks and appetizers, but I wouldn't recommend making it a destination for dinner on any day.

I have been to Mango Mikes on various occasions and the food is is predictable but recently it was less than stellar after taking some friends along with us. The food doesn't have any vegetarian options, other than a plain salad. We also learned that other than the fresh fish options, the rest of the food is prepared, specifically the quesadillas. You cant get them without chicken because they are already prepackaged/made. So basically, it came out of a box. The drinks are great and happy hour is fun because of the atmosphere but the place is pretty smokey. The hush puppies are my favorite thing here. For some reason I come back in hopes the rest of the menu would be better. Oh and stay away from the sweet pototoes. They are awful.

This restaurant is hilariously kitchy - it's all decorated with palms, bright colors, and has tiki bars. Their menu is predictable with the occasional treat. I really loved the lobster salad - it was excellent. However, many of their entrees are fried and overly unhealthy. I hoped for more fresh, light options, but found them lacking on the healthy options.

They have a wonderful caribbean theme at Mango Mike's, with funky drinks and a steele drum band on many nights. They also have a champagne brunch on the weekends. The prices are a little high and the mimoas were weak, but the food is really good, even the non-seafood dishes (although there are not too many of those on the menu.) Try the vanilla sweet potatoes!

They have a large deck that fills up regularly for dinner and happy hour. They also do catering, and I have been to an event they catered and the food was just as good as in the restaurant.
