We arrived around 630pm. The restaurant was not crowded, but did have seven tables occupied. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Clean. We ordered the broiled scallops for our appeitzer. Wonderful- For dinner, two plates of surf and turf with potato and pecan green beans. The wait was bit long; upon arrival of the food, presentation was nice. However, our green bean sides were forgotten. When requested it took over ten minutes to get them to the table. Both steaks were ordered medium, one came med rare, one mediumj well. The cut of meat was juicy and tender, but not cooked as requested. The shrimp were excellant. The bake potatoes had been over cooked, sitting too long, the skin and first layer rather hard, and it was cold. The butter would not melt. The idea was there, but total execution was not. Our waitress, not as attentive as she should be with a bit of snob on the side. Maybe we arrived at a bad time. I believe, they have the ability, but need to stay on top of things. Donot send out cold potatoes, and more attention to the table and detail to your attitude.

We came from Chesapeake(Western Branch) on a Friday evening to try this restaurant for the first time. We started with the calamari and oysters rockafeller as appetizers..simply perfect on both. Tried the specialty of the house, pecan rockfish, which was absolutly wonderful. Also had the Surf and Turf which came with a fantastically tender ribeye and large grilled shrimp. Everything we ate from the appetizers to the salad to the entrees was fresh and tasty, including the cocktails. We can't believe there isn't a line out the door of this place! Suffolk...you have a gem here...it's a shame it seems underappreciated.

We had never been before and didn't know if it would be crowded or not. So not to chance it we arrived about 6:15. There was only one or 2 couples there. We were seated very promptly by the host. Our waitress was very professional but also personable. Her name was Vicky. We started with a very good jumbo shrimp cocktail which was wonderful. My wife had the fried flounder fillet and I had a wonderful juicy tender and thick steak cooked to perfection. The flounder portion was really large and also very good. We both had a side of some of the best green beans I have ever had. Desert was a home made lemon cheesecake which was out of this world. All in all the food was great as well as the service and we loved the decor. Pricing is reasonable. We will make this one of our regular dining establishments. Good job and excellent service. Thanks Vicky.

Pisces is located on Main Street in Suffolk and it is quite a nice surprise at a reasonable cost. My fiance and i have dined there three times since moving to Suffolk, and I must say that I am impressed. Suffolk is not exactly Metropolitan, but Pisces has a certain Metro flair about it. It is casual yet upscale at the same time.

Pisces offers a variety of seafood dishes on its menu, and the prices are not at all high. I had the blackened tuna when I went. It comes with a choice of two vegetables and is divine. I had it cooked medium and it was just perfect! My mother had the stuffed flouder on one occasion and she said it was excellent.

Most seafood dishes are available fried, broiled, or blackened. I love the spicy blackened seasoning, and always
choose it! It can, on occasion, be a little too spicy, however.

Prices of most entrees range from around 12.50 and up...some entrees are listed at market price.

Appetizers such as crab dip and coconut shrimp are available.

Service is friendly, but not cloying...it is just right! Waiters and waitresses are very efficient, and seem to tend to your every need!

Pisces offers a choice of beverages to include soft drinks and alcholic beverages. There is a full bar. Service in the bar is fair. Prices of most wines are somewhat high. I do not, howver, usually drink a great amount so it is not much of a concern.

Pisces has a very casual atmosphere with low lighting and a modern feel. You may feel like you are in a trendy, urban restaurant upon visiting.

This is a great restaurant that I would highly recommend!

PROS: Excellent food, great value
CONS: Bar service just fair
