Hot Dog King

My all time favorite hot dog place! The food is served piping hot, fresh, and delicious. My mother and I were considered regulars even though we only stopped in every 2 weeks or so- she knew our order off the top of her head! [might help that we got the same thing every time!] Their shakes are delicious, a nice treat after a foot long with chili and cheese, some chili cheese fries and a nice break to let it settle! I never felt rushed and they kept an eye on us from a distance- let us enjoy our meal, but were never negligent of our drinks or empty plates. The prices are cheap too!!

A great laid back place to eat! My family got bbq sandwiches, burger, corn dog, chicken nuggets, and fries. Everything was great, including the ice tea. The waitress seemed to recognize the regular customers, as if she had been there a good many years. I have already recommended this place to friends that live nearby!

Great place to stop by for lunch or a quick dinner before you go somewhere. Tasty bbq, dogs with chili, fresh french fries and very quick usually. Nice place to stop if you're in a hurry and want a chili dog or a chili burger.

When we saw this place we just had to stop in. They have so many toppings! Everything is fresh too. The kids love going there and picking out what they want. Definitely a good place.

The price is always right here. If you love a good old fashioned hot dog with any kind of topping, come on over. YUMMY! And the fries are good too!

Gus's Hot Dog King has two locations, one in Williamsburg and one in Newport News. They are family owed and they provide a friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent and well priced. You can get a hot dog with every toping you can imagine.
