        .

I'd being looking at used / 'unworn' Rolex's on the net for several months--scary--what if replicas, modified, etc?. My friend and I went to lunch downtown Fredericksburg , went across street and came out with (1) Rolex ea and charms /Christmas presents. I love my Submariner 50th Anniversary! David (sales) was 1st class--they all are. I knew why after talking to owner--downtown since the 1950's! Family business, over 50 yrs old, just the type of business I like to patronize. David, I'll be back--got my eye on a Sub Serti or Daytona; just got to save up. You CANNOT go wrong with these honorable / honest folks. Thanks David...............John R

This is a true gem of a jewelry store with an outstanding selection of high end items (great choice of Rolex watches at unbeatable prices) and fine gift items (including many wonderful choices for under $50 and some incredible Belleek ad other porcelain items). What blew me away was that I happened to be visiting during one of their semi-annual Faberge egg shows. There were -- no kidding -- at least 40,000 (yes, 40 THOUSAND!) pendants to choose from and the staff knew every one of them. They typically carry a nice selection of a hundred or so, but can get any style in 24kt gold or silver finish within a couple of weeks and don't charge extra for special orders. Prices for thier egg pendants started at $25 -- and as a collector, I have never seen such a selection or such great pricing. Their Nativity egg and the 3-generation Matryoshka Nesting Doll egg (a locket inside a locket) were awesome. Their military eggs (Marine Corps, Army. Navy and Air Force) really honored the services unlike any other jewelry I've ever seen and the Nurse pendant almost made me wish I'd chosen a different profession! If you also collect the eggs or have an affection for Faberge's creative genius, it's worth the trip to attend one of their shows (I was told they have them as 2-day events in May and December). If you are in town and just need a nice, affordable gift for someone special -- you'd be hard-pressed to find a better place to shop. Superior selection, excellent prices, incredibly hospitable (and NOT pushy) staff. There were practically ten fingernail marks trailing out the door where they had to drag me out! Enjoy it.

If you are looking for a Rolex this is the place to go. This jewelry store is amazing but definitely out of my price range. Their selection is very extensive, they carry gifts for every occasion, but I can't afford their prices on most things. The staff was very friendly and didn't put any pressure on me to buy something I couldn't afford. If I ever have money to blow I will shop there, but it's not for the middle class just getting by unless you are looking for a watch battery or something small like that.

        Message from Crown Jewelers

Crown Jewelers of Fredericksburg Virginia was first opened in the 200 block of William Street in 1945. After years of serving the Fredericksburg area and continual growth the location changed to the corner of William and Caroline Streets in 1989. Our present location is the former Farmers and Merchants Bank building in the heart of historic downtown.
