Pinecrest Shell got new owners in year 2012. The service is world-class now. I call Bob, the 'Car Doctor' because the diagnosis is thorough and to the point. The bills I have got here are lower from other repair shops in the area.
That is a good thing but a more important attribute to a repair shop is 'Honest Work'. Pinecrest excels in this regards. They are very reliable and dependable.
They even have a shuttle service to drop/pick you at work or home.
I highly recommend them for auto repairs. They have diagnostic tools for German, Japanese as well as US made vehicles. They are courteous, punctual in their estimates. The new alignment machine that they have installed is world-class. What else does a customer want?
Try them, you will recommend them to others.
Trustworthy: The folks at the Pinecrest Shell were great. They were able to figure out what the problem was, explain it to me in plain english, and repair it. Before this, I had been to another repair place where they charged me without even finding the cause of the problem (I had a leak).
So, yes, I would highly recommend this place!

I've gotten my car fixed in multiple places and by far this is the worst experience I have ever had. The mechanics dont speak english, they are incompetent, and try to ripp you off my ordering the most expensive parts. They gave a really low estimate and then when my car was fixed, raised the price by hundreds of dollars. When I asked the manager about the new price....his response...."If you dont like it, go somewhere else, we will take out the new part."
