Jean Jacques Bakery

I have been going to Jean-Jacques bakery for many years, and even with the new owner Jozef the pastry chef which has been with the bakery ever since it opened it has been the one and only bakery I have bought all my cakes, bread and pastries from. It is always fresh, no junk in it no preservatives, all good like home made.They always try to please me and are real nice to talk to. I am from Europe and would not buy anywhere else.

BUT IM TRYING TO LOOK FOR SOME ONE CHEAP WHO COULD DO WEDDING CAKE FOR 500 SO ID YOU HAVE ANY TIME PLEASE E-MAIL ME BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE THANK YOU

I was walking by and noticed the place, walked in and was shocked at the amazing pastries they had on display. I bought some to take home, along with their almond cake and was blown away at the freshness and taste of everything. I've been going back since to get baguettes and their soft cheese loaves.

My review doesn't do them half the amount of justice they deserve...not to mention the (supposed) new owner is a friendly funny guy.

PROS: Sweet warm smell, all the cakes, cookies, customer service
CONS: I can't say anything really bad, other than how busy a saturday can get

This bakery is a well known pillar in Carytown. They remodeled several years ago and you can go in and get a cafe au lait and a croissant. We enjoy going there for a mid day snack or dessert..they have mouthwatering cheesecake, baguettes, and cakes. They are not open in the evenings. They also offer catering and wedding cakes that are beautiful.
