Wilson Street Pentecostal Holiness Church has been my home church since my birth 26 years ago - my grandmother began taking me there as a baby, and I've always felt very much at home in the small, cozy environment and the warm, friendly congregation. Wilson Street is a small church with approximate membership of about one hundred (Sunday morning services are nearly always around fifty people.) A large percentage of the membership is older/elderly, although a youthful minister and several young couples keep the atmosphere lively.

Sunday School classes are available for children from newborn up, young adults, couples, men/women and seniors. Sunday morning worship service begins at 10:45 a.m., Sunday evening service at 6 p.m. and Wednesday evening service at 7 p.m.

Youth programs include Missionettes (girls) and Royal Rangers (boys), both led by dedicated church members who strive to teach youngsters about our Lord while providing opportunities for fun and fellowship with their peers.

Pastor Eddie Mishoe is a true gem - he infuses each of his sermons with fun anecdotes or inspiring stories that capture your attention, and is a true friend to each member of his congregation. He shares in joy, trial and sorrow, and is very easy to talk to - we couldn't have asked for a more perfect match for our little church.

Visitors are always welcome - be sure and say hello to me, I'll be chasing the little blonde toddler around the back of the sanctuary. :)

PROS: Small, cozy church; friendly membership; variety of programs.
CONS: N/A
