Where I can see the concerns over the other reviewer's interactions with the director, this would not have been at Open Arms Christian Preschool located at 8800 River Road, Richmond, VA. It is a ministry of River Road United Methodist Church.
The director of Open Arms Christian Preschool is Joan Brennan.

I put my son in here for summer camp and my son loved it. Every day he came home with something new. He loved going and the teachers were very sweet and great with the kids. My only upset was the Director, Linda Jones. My son has a few delays and while I was talking to a lady about joining "My Gym", she walked up to us and asked if I though my son was "capable" of doing the specific class. Doing what? Running around a gym for 45 min?! Needless to say, the My Gym lady told me her son had delays to and benefited greatly from the classes. While I understand the Directors concerns, I think she should have familiarized herself a bit more with my son and realized that while he wasn't yet talking much (he knew sign language), he is very smart and would be able to "figure out" a gym class. I also tell his teachers BEFORE I sign up for anything about his delays to make sure it wouldn't cause a problem so she didn't need to interfere in our discussion (I just found that rude). I would take him back however since the teachers are the ones that really matter and they were wonderful with him!
