I want to thank the Dr.'s & staff for helping me with my 2 Basset Hounds babies(Daisy-8,Lillie-6),especially Mandy-she calls her girlfriend,this means a lot to me.They have helped Lillie a lot,but you all have been there for my baby Daisy.She has been through a lot of small & LARGE stuff,like bladder stones she had & with cancer(remission for now-great).A trooper going through treatments.Both babies are happy.This is my job is to take care of them & with there help we work as a team to make this happen.They understand & are willing to try anything to make this happen.Thank you for being there for us.

I have a Border Collie who began having seizures at 6 months old. After having them every 30 days for 6 months I took her to a vet in Lynchburg who didn't seem to be as concerned about her health as I was and was told she didn't have them often enough to do anything.Still concerned I was talking to a friend about her and she recommended the vets at Lake Forest. The first day I took her in I knew I was in the right place. My dog was put on medication and the seizures stopped. That has been about 12 years ago. These are the most loving and caring vets I have had the pleasure to meet. They truly are Gods Gift to animals.

All six of my animals are clients. The vets and the staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, patient and wonderful. I highly recommend to anyone this vet to anyone who wants quality care for their animal companions.

MY FATHER TOOK OUR FAMILY DOG TO SEE THESE PEOPLE AT A TIME THAT WE THOUGHT WE HAD TO PUT HIM TO SLEEP. THE VETS WERE VERY SYMPATHIC AND OFFERED SOME DIFFERENT TYPES OF TREATMENTS. HE WAS ABLE TO OFFER A SURGERY THAT NO ONE ELSE DID. THAT WAS OVER A YEAR AGO AND NOW HE IS DOING MUCH BETTER. THE VET SAID WE WOULD BE LUCKY TO GET ANOTHER YEAR OUT OF HIM (HE'S 14 NOW) WE KNOW HE WON'T BE AROUND FOREVER BUT THEY OFFERED ALOT MORE HOPE THAN OTHER VETS.

PROS: GREAT SYMPATHY
CONS: A LITTLE FAR OUT-DISTANCE

We boarded our cat for a week long stay at Lake Forest Animal Hospital. The staff was very accomondating and allowed easy pick and drop off options. They greeted our baby with open arms and seemed to really love animals. The only drawback we had was actually talking to someone while we were on vacation. We left 3 messages and our calls were not returned, made us a little uneasy 8 hours away.
