Daedalus Bookshop

This may well be the best book shop I have been privileged to see in my entire life. The selection is amazing; from the common to the whimsical Daedalus has it all. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, and on three separate occasions not only helped me find a rare book as a present, but suggested wonderful complimentary books as well that made the gift that much better! Definitely worth checking out.

This is everything a used bookstore should be. It smells a bit musty in there, you can't turn around without knocking over a stack of books, and you nearly need a map to get around the place. It's truly wonderful.

And the books are incredible. Great quality and TREMENDOUS selection. This is easily my favorite bookstore in Charlottesville.

This has to be one of the neatest used book stores I have been in. The place is quite literally a maze of books that span 3 floors and countless rooms. If you cant find the book elsewhere, this is place to go. It is not a great place to just browse, but if you know what you want ahead of time it is great.

This little shop is my favorite bookseller in Cville. It has a great location near the Mall, and you can easily pass an afternoon in this cozy shop. It is a little dark and cramped, but that is a plus for the real librador. The selection is great, and you frequently coem across some real gems.
