If you're in the Lynchburg area these are the go to guys. Laslie's Service team and mechanics did a phenomenal job fixing my Ford Focus that looked like a chewed piece of bubble gum when they got it. Not only is it good as new; in fact, it is in better working condition then when I drove it off the lot. If you need a car repair or an oil exception you'd be a fool not to stop by Laslie's.

My experience with Laslie's Auto Body has not been a happy one. I brought my car to them because I had been in a BNI networking group with the owner and in the past had sent him referrals. Not all those I sent were impressed, but they didn't have huge problems.My sister backed into my car with her van and crumpled the hood. She and her husband chose to pay for it out of pocket rather than put it on their insurance. I got quotes from other body shops; Laslie's was in line with them.
Since Laslie's would not accept credit card payment, which would have been more convenient for us,I still chose to stay with them out of misguided loyalty. This placed a strain on my relationship with my sister who had to come up with a check for the amount. She wrote me a check for the amount. which was over $1,000.00.
When I came to pick up the car, the bill was $56 dollars higher than the check I had from my sister because the parts department had failed to check the freight charges when sourcing the hood. My wife noticed a scrape on the bumper that had come from the hood being pushed back across the bumper. I noticed that the lights weren't in line with the hood and found that the mounts to the right headlight had been broken. Because I didn't want to cause more stress between my sister and I, I ended up eating the cost: ($256 and a scraped bumper.)

As an MBA I know that today's customers are expecting much better service quality than this. 4 defects in one opportunity to serve is clearly out of control. The owner refused to take responsibility for the issues he had caused from: his credit card policy, his estimator's failure to detect 3 obvious issues (broken light, scraped bumper and freight) and his worker's failure to notice the problems when they were working on the car as well. I told the owner he would not receive any more referrals from me, or any positive word of mouth.

Bottom line: they are out of touch with their quality processes and the "voice of the customer" and do not have a customer service mindset. They might have gotten away with that 25 years ago, but I recommend looking elsewhere and do not refer.

The auto body wok here turns the dents invisible. You cannot tell after the job is done where it was the same car that was involved in the mishap. The job done is superb. The people are very friendly and they know their job right.. The car feels just like new.

My husband's 97 Mustang was hit by a deer and the entire front end was ruined. He couldn't even drive the car home from work. Laslie's came and got it and it was fixed within a reasonable amount of time without any difficulties. The service was wonderful and the people were very friendly
