Salon Radiance

I have been going to Ampy for years for my eyebrows. I was in Charlottesville for a few years and used to drive back to DC to have my eye brows done rather than trust someone other than Ampy. I have naturally full (and curly) eyebrows that require a lot of careful maintenance. Ampy takes her time and is incredibly meticulous..she waxes and cuts the individual hairs as she shapes your eyebrows. I constantly get compliments on my eyebrows and will never go to another eyebrow waxer.

I also have started going to Ampy for my pedicure because I have an ingrown toenail. Ampy is wonderful. She fixed my problem and I don't have pain anymore. If you have an ingrown toenail, go to Ampy before going to the doctor. She is a miracle worker!

I've been going to Ampy at Salon Radiance for several years now for manicures, pedicures and brow waxing. I'm VERY happy with the service and with the salon. When Ampy is unavailable I've also seen Jinny and she is fantastic as well. Great service, great people, great place and great price. Highly recommend it.

Fed up with hairstylists who don't listen to what you want and manicurists who rush through the job just to get to the next appointment, I searched the Internet in hopes of finding the one place I could go that would care about me and what I wanted. After reading the reviews of Salon Radiance on the insider, I decided to give it a try. Sarah cut my hair and Ampy shaped my eyebrows and gave me a pedicure and manicure. All I can say is every single review about this place is not only accurate but informative. Sarah cut my hair exactly as I wanted it and Ampy is a real professional who takes as much time as necessary to do the job as it should be done. Salon Radiance is a warm and friendly place that makes each and every customer feel like they are the most important person in the world. This place is a real find!

I moved to this neighborhood not too long ago, and I actually found this salon through insiderpages. I decided to give them a try, and I could not be more pleased with the results. I would definitely recommend sarah for a haircut. she definitely knows what she is doing. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I've been going to Ampy for pedicures for many years. I drive for 30 minutes to get there because I wouldn't have anyone else do my pedicures. I used to have to go to the foot doctor every few years for various little problems such as callouses. Last time I went he told me to continue going to whomever was doing my pedicures because she was doing a great job. She is wonderful!

I have finally found a hair sylist! I was beyond thrilled with this salon. It is small and not fancy, but it is perfect for getting the attention you want and all for a VERY reasonable price. I would highly recommend Sarah for a haircut, she talks to you before, during, and after the haircut and I can't wait to go back!

No one does a better job than Ampy for waxing, manicures and pedicures. She makes waxing as painless as possible. I have received numerous compliments on my eyebrows and my manicure and pedicure last for at least 3 weeks! Would not go anywhere else!

The shop has a very congenial atmosphere. The owner is friendly and makes every effort to please. Ampy has a gift for shaping eyebrows. She takes her time and approaches the task like an artist approaching a canvas. I've been going to her for more years than I can remember for eyebrows, manicures, and pedicures. I live in Maryland and have followed her from two other salons in Virginia. Other salons fall short of what I get at Salon Radiance. Ampy also has male customers, including my husband, who has his pedicures there. I recommend Salon Radiance because they value their customers, give personal service, and offer their services at reasonable prices and most of all do an outstanding job. If you are looking for ambience, this isn't the place for you. But if you want excellent personal services, I recommend you give them a try.

i wish i had known this website existed earlier to comment on this place. I've been going there for a while now, and I don't go anywhere else. the staff is always friendly and more than anything, they really do try their best to make sure you get the style that you want. I have recommended this place to all my friends and family.

I definitely do think that your eyebrows are really important for framing your face, and after a really bad waxing incident, i was really afraid to let anybody touch them. my friend persuaded me finally to go see ampy to get them shaped. I've been there 3 times now and i can't believe i waited this long. the arches are perfect and they're much better than even before the waxing accident.

i highly recommend!

I just moved to the area and thought to look up some salons in the area. I came across this page and read soem of the reviews. I booked an appointment for a haircut. it was definitely a great experience to have somebody actually listen to what i want and to explain to me what she was doing step-by-step so that in the end, the only surprise was how much better i looked. i'm definitely going back and next time, I think i'll try a manicure and pedicure, too.

excellent service and very welcoming. i don't let anyone else even touch my haircolor. i'm out of town often, and it's definitely worth waiting even 3 or 4 months until I can get back and get my roots done. I recommend this place to all my friends and family.

i had been going to the same stylist for three years now and had come into a style rut;she refused to listen to me anymore, so I looked on this site, found good review, and decided to try it out. the other reviewers were absolutely right. i went to sarah and she listened to me and consulted with me about what would be a good change for me, then explained as she went along what she was doing and why to make sure that it was what i wanted. everybody has complimented me, and i absolutely love it. I've recommended this place to all my friends. Like the previous reviewer said, it's not a big salon, but the staff is extremely friendly and the service is absolutely superb!

a friend at the gym came in and i had to ask her where she got her hair cut. she recommended me this place and told me i should get my eyebrows shaped while i'm at there, and that I should ask for Ampy. No regrets whatsoever. The eyebrow shaping literally changed my face! The staff is so welcoming and friendly and the service is amazing. I would definitely recommend it to anybody I know.

Everything, from the walkway in, to the salon was cozy and welcoming. The actual salon is not that big, but that means more attention. they really make sure you 're comfortable and that you get everything you need. i had my hair color done (ask for sarah) and mani/pedi, too (ask for jinny). i absolutelyyyyy love it, and they offered good prices and a good discount for new customers. definitely worth going to. I recommended this place to all my friends.
