This is a massage school offering massages from learning students. I am leaving this feedback for those interested in attending. If you think you are going for free, think again. So to start you pay $50 to register when you visit. Then they ask financial questions. Then they get you to think that it will be covered by aid so you don't pay anything for a while and even get a kit with books. The massage classes cost about $12,800 and takes 7-8 months to finish if you take day classes or a year if you take night classes. Then halfway during the course they tell you that pell only awards $2,400 and you will pay $8,100 in interest loans. So you have already put in half the time and you figure I will worry about the loan later. Well its later for me and I am financially worse off then when I started. Work and customers are hard to find (and I work hard). My advice: don't go here unless you have the money to pay for it or can handle the loan after.

I love to get massages, but they aren't always in my budget. I found the VA School of Massage and decided to try it. The students who give the massages have already been through weeks of schooling, then practice on a 'dummy' before they are ever allowed to work with the public. You can request a male or female student if you have a preference. It is very professional with light music and dim lights. I have had spa massages and student massages and they all felt the same to me! $30 for 1 hour, and often times you will even come across a $5 off coupon. No tipping allowed, but they do ask you to complete a very brief evaluation on the student for their records. Hours vary depending on when students sign up to meet their requirements. Right off of Emmet St.

PROS: Quality massage for only $30
CONS: hours may be limited based on students schedules
