Homeschooling can be an expensive endeavor, especially when you have a family of bookworms who are looking for books that aren't stocked by the local library. Thanks to the Book Exchange, we've lightened the load on our pockets. I've fully stocked the American History section of our homeschool library through the book Exchange at a fraction of what it would have cost me at other bookstores. The best part of it all was that I funded that portion of our library by bringing books that we are no longer reading to the exchange.

The Book Exchange is a delight to shop in. It's light and airy and for me, the best part is that it doesn't have that musty smell that you often find in used book stores.

Wonderful store -- you'll feel like you're shopping in a downtown boutique. Forget dusty shelves and disorganized piles you'll find in a typical used bookstore. Book Exchange is bright, clean, and has an amazing selection. Are you a homeschooler? Check their children's non-fiction for some great titles and even some used curriculum. Fantastic resource.

I moved here from the west and this store reminds me of my favorite bookstores there. Fantastic selection, knowledgeable staff, great prices, and more. Definitely one of Norfolk's best kept secrets!

PROS: Good trade policy, wide selection, trade good for other items too
CONS: none

I thought I was in a new bookstore when I first went in. Great books, trade policy, selection, staff, etc. They were a little picky on what they took for trade credit, but I found plenty of books and a DVD that made the trip well worthwhile.

Pros: Clean & Organized. Very fair trade policy where you can even use book credit for DVDs, VHS and Cd's

I read a lot of books and my I have found that my main problem is finding room for them all after I have read them. The solution I have found is to take them to the Book Exchange and trade them in for some new books that I have not yet read. I love this place because this way whenever I go pick up a new paperback and finish it I can take it back and either sell it to them or trade it for something else. It is a great place because you never know what new books may be in stock and you could luck out and wind up with a real collectible.
