This place is THE WORST!!! I went in to have someone give a drug screen and was assured the results would be emailed to me within 24-48 hours. It's been over 8 days, I still haven't received the results. I've been calling for the last three days to try to get them and they have been very rude and incredibly unhelpful. Today I spoke to a supervisor there named Pam and explained that I never received the results, that I no longer need them, and that I want a refund. She was very rude and she basically said, oh well, I don't care. When I told her I was going to contest the charge she acted like she didn't care and hung up on me. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! I truly can't remember the last time I received such horrible and rude service.

I was visiting my grandparents in Orange when I started to get the tell-tale signs of an ear infection. I was in denial at first-- after all, who gets an ear infection as an adult, in the winter, when they aren't a swimmer? However, by late afternoon, the pain was undeniable, and I decided I couldn't wait until I got home the next day to see a doctor. I searched online and found this prompt care open until 6 pm, so I drove nearly an hour to get to Charlottesville.

When I arrived, the receptionist informed me that they stopped accepting new patients 15 minutes before the office closed. It was 5:47 at the time. That's right. 47. TWO MINUTES after they apparently stop taking new customers, and she steadfastly refused to make any exception. By this point I was in severe pain, and there were no other options available short of a very expensive emergency room visit. I explained that their policy hadn't been posted online, that I had nowhere else to go, that I had driven over an hour to get there, and that my ear REALLY hurt, but the receptionist was completely unsympathetic.

For anyone who hasn't had an ear infection since they were a kid (so probably most of you), you should know that it takes exactly ten seconds for a doctor to diagnose an outer ear infection. All he has to do is stick the probe in your ear, take a peek, and then say "Yes, that is in fact an ear infection." Add in the time to explain "I'm pretty sure I have an ear infection" and the time to write a prescription, and you're talking two minutes, tops. Maybe three or four if the doctor is in a chatty mood.

The fact that this facility couldn't overlook a two minute difference in time when a patient is standing in front of them in severe pain is incredibly poor service. I would not recommend using this facility unless you were completely desperate and had no other options. If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself in such desperate straits...make sure you arrive at least 15 minutes early.

The office staff are a bunch of criminals. Lazy stupid and rude. Don't ask them for anything, because they don't have the time for it. I wouldn't take my dog to prompt care. Worst customer service ever

I was new in town and got a horrible cold. Not having a doctor here I was urged by coworkers to go to Prompt Care as they were near my home and took new urgent patients. The care I got was thorough and compassionate. I was correctly diagnosed with a sinus infection and given appropriate medication. Since then I have been back twice and each time I was treated well and was referrred to a specialist once when the I had multiple UTIs. Anot her time I had severe mucle pains that I couldnt explain. The doctor ran a full panel of tests, called me back in two days with the results thatr were in, and sent me a letter when she couldnt reach me with the remaining results. I have confidence in the care I received there. I will say that once the person at the front desk didnt understand my insurance deductable and I was overcharged 30 dollars but they refunded it when the insurance paid.

Very abrupt in answering any questions. Never received a phone call about a test even though they said they would call in 48 hours - it took 5 days. Then when I did call (for the third time), explaining my symptoms, they said "we can't give medical advice over the phone" and that was the end of it. I do not recommend unless it is Sunday and Prompt Care is the only place open.

There is nothing prompt about the care that you will receive here. I have been here several times and there have never been many people in the waiting room in front of me. I have never gotten out of here in less than 1.5 hours. SAD! I went in for a simple blood test and had to wait to talk to the doctor. The nurse was clueless and didn't realize that all she needed to do for me was draw some blood and send a sample out. In slight defense of this place, the doctor was very courteous after I had to wait so long, unnecessarily. The efficiency and management of this place is terrible!

PROS: Good location
CONS: Too many to list here!!!
