What a wonderful group of caring physicians. They delivered both of my children and it was a wonderful experience. I met every doctor in the practice and at the end I felt like they were all so nice I didn't know which one I would prefer to see in the delivery room. I chose a group practice so I would not worry about the doctors pushing my delivery process along because they had to get back to the office to see other patients. I am so glad I chose this group because the doctors spent a lot of time with me during my labor and let me set the pace. The delivery was much easier than I thought it would be. I think it was how comfortable the doctors made me feel for both of my deliveries. They also welcomed and understood my questions throughout my pregnancies and I had a lot of questions!

Thank you Complete Women??s Care (CWC)! I first went to Complete Women??s Care in December 2008. I met with Julie Rekant because I was having a difficult time getting pregnant. Mrs. Rekant was very supportive and helped me get pregnant within a few months. While pregnant, I had the chance to meet with 5 of the doctors at Complete Women??s Care, including Dr. Crab. I could have tried to see the same doctor every visit, but I really wanted to get to know all of the doctors. I can honestly say that I had a wonderful experience with each doctor I met. I felt that all of the doctors gave me time to ask my questions and explained things in a way that I could understand. This was my first pregnancy so I had no idea what to expect. I was honestly surprised that I felt so comfortable with all of the doctors. Of course they were all very knowledgeable, but they also all had a great bedside manner. The doctors are so caring and the support staff is great. CWC truly made my pregnancy and delivery an amazing experience.

I have been a patient of Complete Women's Care at First Colonial Road since 2002. My last pap smear was May 3rd, 2007. I called today to talk to my Nurse Practicioner Sandra Bailey about Bio Idential Hormone Replacement Therapy. I am 52 and she had asked me if I needed any help with my hormones on May 2nd. I said I was doing fine with the herbal supplements I was taking. My symptoms had changed so I called. I was told they could not find my file. I told them I had been there in the first of May to look it up on their calendars. After several phone calls they still didn't find my file. The type of hormone help I was asking for is a plant hormone, not synthetic. It's the new cutting edge in HRT to replace the old toxic Premarin my mother took. She never called me back. When I called at close of business she only spoke to me through her assistant, who was clueless, and said she would have to sit down with me and chat about my symptoms. By this time I was irate. It's just a plant for God's sakes. She just wanted another exam and it's too early for another exam. They lost my file. I never got to even speak to Sandra, my NURSE PRACTICIONER, much less a doctor. If it didn't include an exam... why can't we talk on the phone? ALSO, the Mammogram center they send you to is the one they own and the woman over there was extremely unkind. I know a mammogram can be rough but the woman was just unbelievably rude. She told me I should never have had breast implants...it was a stupid thing to do..because now it makes it hard to diagnose breast cancer, blah blah blah. I told her I had heard enough and she said,"Would you like for me to stop the exam?" I said,"No I thought she should just keep her opinions to herself,." It was tough enough to go in there and get by breasts slammed in this machine and mashed...but to have some women who berated me the whole time was just humiliating. This place has so many patients they are out of control and the CARE in Complete Women's Care has gone. I do not recommend them.
