Brothers Encore Italian Restaurant

First off anyone who is speaking poorly of the restaurant is probably someone who didn't get free food or doesn't know what good food is at all. Just reading from an outside perspective... how would a management staff be at fault for a husband picking up some "trailer trash"...??? How silly that person is who wrote that...so the management is to control the morals of human beings and not their restaurant? Lets comtemplate that shall we?! Next off is the woman who wrote about the hot tray in front of their baby...I'm sure if it was cold you would have been equally upset...no? Would you like cold pizza? It's the parents job to make sure that their little child does not touch the hot pizza or tray not the management or staff. You could have asked for pizza on a plate and not a tray if you were that worried. And if Katie and Jason (assuming they are staff members of the restaurant) are having such rough treatment they should quit. I don't think thats a valid review of the restaurant..well I on the other hand have been there many times and its great and delicious... and its real italian food not the crap you get at a chain restaurant.... in fact I believe the owner is Italian. Please those who read the posts below do realize that these are people who are complaining because they feel "the customer is always right.." but all of us who have ever worked in a restaurant know that they are in fact not always right. Ok thats all I have to say...but those who have never been should try it for themselves to see how it really is. Thanks bye bye now....

Great food. Great Atmosphere. My husband and I both commented on how attractive, kind, and hard working the saturday night staff was in the bar. What a great way to spend an evening, listening to good music. The management's lack of respect for it's customers and employees did not dampen Jason and Katie's moods and they continued to serve us well and do their best, under rough conditions from the top. I would recommend this restaurant anytime, just try to avoid the red head.

This is for the person that had The Pub confused with some other restaurant.
You made the comment that Our guests at The Pub are all "Trailer Trash" which is not even close.Our Pub guest are Classy women and I am sorry that you came to the wrong place hopeing to find your friends. I guess they were all at home with all of their kids by different Daddies. I'm so sorry you made that mistake.
But if you would like to visit a Family restaurant with great food,great service,the best management in town and a lot of fun then please stop back in.No outside food or drink please!

I echo Jon and Amanda. I just want to add the women who go to this pub are trail trash. They have many children by different men and are looking for someone else husband to have for the night. Many marriages have broken while the owner watches these women work.

I echo Amanda's comments below, and offer a few of my own: Stay away from this horrible establishment, stay very far away. My girlfriend and I decided to try this out Brothers Encore Italian after searching for Italian options in the Dumfries/Woodbridge area.....and we made a big mistake by choosing the aforementioned establishment. To begin with, the service was terrible. Our server acted as if she had better places to be and other things to do---we were very low on her list of priorities. For instance, when she took our order, as I was telling her what I wanted she looked away and began a conversation with the hostess!! No "excuse me", no anything. I was flabergasted. When my spaghetti carbonara arrived, it was swimming in a sea of cream sauce. I had to call in a search team to locate the spaghetti noodles. At the end of our dining "experience", my girlfriend (who works in food service) reluctantly decided to tell the mangager about our substandard food and service---- ever heard the saying "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree?"....well it seems that the wait staff is taking their cues from the management. If they keep this up, they'll be out of business in a year.

yes, the food is great. The prices have risen over the years. For the price that you pay for a penne and meat sauce, I expect a little better service and ownership. The female owner is a horrible, mean, rude person. I had my server set down a piping hot pizza, just out of the oven, right infront of my 4 year old daughter. Luckily I am an active parent and she did not grab for the pizza. The owner did not care that my daughter could have been burnt. She told another guest who was concerned that his pizza had taken over an hour to go to the Burger King across the street. She does not care about her guests and needs to send her servers to waffle house for training. Not to mention the riff raff the Pub brings in to the community. They over serve and serve underage. They do not care and that is obvious with the incident when a young female left the Pub and walked out on to 234 and was killed. Great food, run by horrible people.

With an authentic wishing well in the center of the entryway and beautiful italian design--this place does it for pleasing the eye. Not to mention how great the food is--and your pocket book isn't strained--because the prices are affordable--we have a family of 7--so going out to eat has to be!
Love the salads here!

Good Food and the prices aren't bad either. It's a great mom and pop restaurant with a newly added Pub next door with live entertainment at night. Nice friendly staff too.
