They have the greatest selection around. If you want something you can't find anywhere else, it is worth the extra money. But for pansies or other regular flowers, save your money and go to Lowes or Wal-mart.

An update to the review below, written 2 years ago: While I still love their selection and variety, I have become disappointed in the past year or two, and so have lowered the rating by 2 stars. Their prices are high, but their service does not justify this.
I have had, incorrectly. Quantity pricing does not always seem to come out correctly. Last time, I was told that whenever they scan a valued customer card they have this problem. (So, why not fix it? Shouldn't those of us enrolled in the loyalty program also get the best prices?)
One time, I was actually charged for a around $150 plant stand that I did not buy because of a bad barcode. (Evidentally, the bar code for a relatively inexpensive plant was mixed up with this item.) I was told that this happens "all the time." (So fix it!)
Finally, I had contacted them in writing about getting a donation or discount for a school gardening project. A polite "no" would have been absolutely fine. Instead, there was no response. So, when I went to buy the items for the project, I thought I would make an attempt to ask in person. Instead of a polite "no," I got a rather gruff agreement to give our public school a discount on this one purchase, but somehow, after all the things that were excluded, we save a whole $2 off of more than $100 of plants. It wasn't the money - it was really how unprofessionally the whole thing was handled.

My advice: If you shop there, keep very close track of prices, and check your receipt over carefully before you leave the store.

This is my favorite place to get plants. They have an amazing array of plants, including many varieties that I am unable to find elsewhere. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, plant quality is high, and everything is backed by a guarantee.
Not to miss is the astounding array of poinsettias for the holidays.
