Green Mountain Tropical Fish & Pets

We purchased the remaining stock of Green Mnt. Tropical Fish as they went out of business. We have a posted policy in our store regarding this to avoid any confusion. We had tried to offer a 30% discount to show this customer that we wanted to help the best we could and explained to her that we could not just give her $75 dollars in cash/product in exchange for a piece of unsigned, hand written paper and if she could prove it had been purchased from our store we would of course honor it but we have never offered coupons or gift certificates. The customer got irate so we discontinued the conversation. The customer's daughter contacted the Attorney General, we promptly responded and presented documentation showing our position. This is public record on file with the VT Attorney General. In a nutshell this customer believes that if you were to buy product at Walmart for instance and then offered it for sale then her counterfeit hand written Walmart gift coupon would be honored by you. After the Attorney General denied to help then you slander us? Maybe you have not read the letter you were given in regard to slander?

I would not go there! This store apparently has a new owner who is not anything like the origional owners! I purchased a Gift Certificate at Christmas 7 months ago and tried to use it to make a purchase. The owner of the store refused to accept this, and stated that he is losing money. I explained that this was a purchased Gift Certificate and not a coupon, but he refused anyway. A report has been filed with the Attorney General's office as well as the BBB. Do not shop there!

green mountain tropical fish is an excellent place to go for tropical fish and supplies. they have everything you need here including a huge variety of fish. You can get your fish food and tank accessories here also. the sales staff is great and they are always helpful with any questions. The location is great and so is the parking.

My husband enjoys fish and installed a large aquarium in his study. He enjoys watching the fish swim and says he finds it very relaxing. We always shop for his aquarium supplies at Green Mountain Tropical Fish. They have everything you need from fish food to fish vitamins. The staff is excellent and they can help you find what you need.
