Cat Spay Neuter Clinic

so i go in this place, or should i say, run down apartment building, and i wasn't sure if i was at the right place until i got down stairs and the smell of urine and mothballs hits me like a brick...then i see that their office is nothing but 2 rooms, full of other cats in cages, pissing all over themselves and i seems like some sort of black market operation...do i really want to leave my cat here? i thought...well i did. and what a mistake that was! i told them i just wanted her fixed and that was it, i even signed a form saying that i didn't want any shots or flea meds, as i had this taken care of already. However when i got back to pick up my cat, the old woman at the desk tells me that they went ahead and just gave her the shots and flea med, "because anything i'm using, wont work"...they also told me the food i feed her will kill her in a few years...funny since my last cat lived to be 24 and i fed her the same exact food, but whatever...not only did they give her shots she already had, and gave her flea meds that i didn't want yet, THEY CHARGED ME FOR IT!!! obviously i refused to pay, and after some arguing with the two women who are apparently vets, i got them for free...these women who work here are horrible people, sure they're doing a good service by offering affordable care for my cat, but would gladly pay twice as much to go somewhere more professional, that wont insult me and wont over charge me and break a signed contract. these women show absolutely NO level of professionalism, and will show NO respect. DO NOT go here if you can afford not to. If you can't, by all means, go, but don't let them push you around or over charge you or make you feel bad for feeding them Purena...i personally will NEVER go back, i don't want to help support these old cooks in any way, shape, or form. They need to close their doors because obviously the job has made them bitter and mean and they WILL take it out on YOU...i swear, i've never wanted to punch an old lady in the face before, but like that other guy said before, i sure wanted to when i was done with them...so like i said, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS UNLESS YOU HAVE NO OTHER CHOICE.

I agree with the last two reviews that the place looks very dirty. I'm sure they are sanitary when they operate, but I does literally feel like you are IN a litter box. I also know what jb was saying about the employees, I told them what kind of cat food i was buying and the woman made me feel like crap for feeding to my cat and that my cat would be fat and dehydrated all the time and die in a few years...it upset me, but I didn't say anything.

So yes, go because it's affordable, but don't expect much respect or any level of professionalism.

I wouldn't go here if i could afford not to. The price is great they seem very nice and I appreciate what these people do for people like me, but the place itself looks like some back alley abortion clinic. The place smells terrible and it's very stuffy and unorganized. The other thing is the employees, they are nice, but can be very judgemental and make you feel like a bad cat owner. I told them I had a pregnant cat and they said they could abort the litter and fix her for free, which was a great idea in my mind, but the cat wasn't all mine, it's a family pet, it wasn't my decision alone, so before I even said yes or no i said i wasn't sure yet and the short hair woman goes "oh well it doesn't look like you're gonna do it, that's too bad" and walks away...another woman says "another abused kitty?" and the short haired one says "well, neglected anyway..." I wanted to punch her in the face but i didn't. I walked out and will never go back if i can afford it. If i do go back, I will make sure they know I'm only there because it's cheap, not because I like them.

Also the hours are terrible, they don't list any, but they're basically Friday and Saturday 8-3.

Make sure you have them tell you what they're going to charge you, they will treat fleas without asking you and charging you 5$ because "it's the only stuff that works" and granted, it's cheap, but they should still ask you. If they do this to you, just complain for a little bit and they wont charge you.

so yes, go here because it's cheap, but don't let them stomp all over you and make you feel like a bad cat owner because you're not sure if you want to abort a littler of kittens that don't belong to you alone...

THIS CLINIC IS GREAT TO BRING YOUR CATS. I BROUGHT MY STRAY KITTEN HERE AND GOT HER SPAYED FOR ONLY $35! THEY ALSO GAVE HER SHOTS AND MEDS FOR CHEAP, TOO.

PROS: THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE DEDICATED TO HELPING ANIMALS
CONS: THIS ISN'T THE CLASSIEST VET'S OFFICE.
