We are frequent B & B guests and have stayed at the Meadowlark Inn many times since the new owners took over in 2002. It is a lovingly restored 1870 Farmhouse with wonderful views and 3 acres with perennial flowers, organic vegetable and herb gardens. We can honestly say we have never enjoyed a better breakfast. The owners are culinary school graduates who use fresh local and their own home grown foods whenever possible! The rooms are each uniquely appointed with attention to the details. We have always found it to be spotless. Each season has it's own beauty and now we have finally experienced them all-last week stargazing from the hammock! We have been there in the wintertime and walked down to the Brattleboro Country Club to X-C ski, enjoyed the front porch to sit and take in the beauty of autumn color in the maples that line the front of the property, and fallen asleep to the sound of the peepers in the pond in late spring. We highly recommend the Meadowlark as a place to get away from it all & for the truly Vermont experience it offers! The website pictures are very accurate and up to date...

I stayed here one time when on vacation in New Hamphire and wasn't too impressed. The place was very old, run down and dirty. I wouldn't recommend them.
