Canine To Five

I took my dog to Canine to Five once and I will never take her again. She is a very black, black lab and we could visibly see the dirt on her. And she stunk!! I wiped her down with paper towels first and they turned black so I gave her a bath and the dirt just rolled off her. She was only there for an hour and a half! I don't see how anyone could continue to take there dog there.

I wont go into great lengths. but i took my dog there for about 2 weeks. everytime she came home i had to give her a bath, she smelled so bad of urine and fecies it was unreal. the last day she was there i went to pick her up, there were dogs running around everywhere, not in there pens like they should have been, when the girl went to go get my dog the other dogs went nuts and because some were not in there pens they were bitting at other dogs thru the chain link fence at other dogs who were still in there pens. it was complete chaos. so i figured.. hey everyone has an off day, well then i noticed there was a dog in a crate.. not a pen.. a crate. and i asked why, the girl said, well he was annoying me so i put him in there. well then i thought about it, every time that one girl was working there was always a dog in that crate, and im sorry but i would be livid if that was my dog. i do not pay someone 10 dollars a day to put my dog in a crate, she could sit at home in her crate for free if that was the case.

If you need to find a kennel or doggie daycare (cats too) in the Rutland, Vermont area, your first call should be Canine to Five. I have boarded dogs and cats with these wonderful people. They treat your pets like Kings and somehow maintain affordable rates. You will have peace of mind knowing that your best friend(s) are in the care of Canine to Five's professional and caring staff.
